I used this on my mother's sun-damaged window screens to give them a refreshed look. Not a barn or a fence, but it's what I needed black exterior paint for, and it delivered. I ran it through a paint sprayer, which meant thinning it first. The sprayer came with a viscosity cup and a chart, and the chart wasn't entirely dialed in, but it gave me a starting point and I adjusted from there. Once I had the ratio right it sprayed flawlessly. It went on very smooth and did not clog the screen holes. The coverage and finish impressed me. I live in a very hot climate and the day was a scorcher, so the paint dried incredibly fast. The color came out even and a true flat black, exactly what I wanted. I had to go over a few spots with a brush because it was my first time using a spray gun and my technique could use some work. I worried the brush would either go on rougher or clog the mesh, and going on wet it did fill the holes. But as it dried it pulled back to just the surface of the screen and left the holes clear. If you're painting screens, that's worth knowing. For high quality outdoor paint, I think it's a great bargain. ... show more
