I miss the grippier material on the older evo iPhone cases but this is by no means a slick case. Still has plenty of grip to it and like all other evo cases reasonably thin and compact to hold while still protecting your phone. I will say it is a massive pain to remove from your phone. good case but this thing is too slippery. the tech 21 evo check case used to be super grippy around the edges of the phone, now it’sa super smooth matted plastic. not great for holding a big heavy phone like the 13 pro max

I always buy tech21 cases for my iphone. They deliver on the phone’s protection. This Evo case is no exception. I have dropped my phones several times and they almost always came away unscathed because of the tech21 line of cases. The one time the phone didn’t make it was because the edge of the screen hit a tiny pebble, but even then, my screen protector took all the damage. The actual screen was undamaged. (FYI: look for the ZAGG line of screen protectors, they’re excellent.) Between the screen protector and Tech21 case, you can get into movie fights or fall from a plane, and your phone will bounce back, ready for the next call of duty. ... show more

I’ve had a tech 21 case for the past 3 or 4 iPhones I’ve had & they all are amazing!! I love that the newer ones have the ability to change the color of the buttons. But.. I REALLY REALLY love this case and recommend it!

I will give this iPhone case five stars although I am not totally satisfied with it. I ordered black but the Amazon photograph the case appears to be a transparent black while the one I received is a solid black. I would have preferred the color as advertised on Amazon website. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and this case was so hard to put my phone into. It is so tight I may never be able to get it off my iPhone. It looks good, quality seems great and I believe it will protect my iPhone very well I just wish it was a lighter shade of black. ... show more

This is my second Tech 21 case. The first was for an iphone 7S and this is for a iPhone 13 Max Pro. I chose the 16 foot drop protection and found it just a little thicker and stiffer than the prior case. This rigid case adds sturdiness and more protection for your phone. The raised areas protect the cameras and buttons on the sides, yet the total package is still slim. The grip is secure and not sticky and it cleans up easy. There’s no problem with the MagSafe charging with it on and plates for magnetic holders stick very well. ... show more
