Description

Mark Manson Collection 2 Books Set Includes Titles In This Set:- The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck, Everything Is Fcked. Description:- The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life In this generation-defining self-help guide, a superstar blogger cuts through the crap to show us how to stop trying to be "positive" all the time so that we can truly become better, happier people. For decades, we’ve been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "Fk positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let’s be honest, shit is fked and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn’t sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is—a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fk is his antidote to the coddling, let’s-all-feel-good mindset that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up. Everything Is Fcked: A Book About Hope We live in an interesting time. Materially, everything is the best it’s ever been—we are freer, healthier and wealthier than any people in human history. Yet, somehow everything seems to be irreparably and horribly fcked—the planet is warming, governments are failing, economies are collapsing, and everyone is perpetually offended on Twitter. At this moment in history, when we have access to technology, education and communication our ancestors couldn’t even dream of, so many of us come back to an overriding feeling of hopelessness. • Tongue-In-Cheek Philosophy
Great books for people who love philosophy but need a break from the dusty stuffy depths of Plato and Nietzsche. Mark Manson teaches is how to not take everything so seriously, and focus in on what really matters in life.

I did get both books, I had given my daughter the one book, and did not know the two books were in one box. Great buy.

  • Sometimes a person just needs permission
Despite the unnecessarily edgy title, this book may give just the right perspective someone can hear - especially those who shutter and any "spiritual" viewpoint. The deal is, so many of our situations are a direct result of our choices and when "mind-content" we choose to pay attention to. Just like, in this country, we eat cows but not dogs, so we choose to follow some thoughts and let others pass by - But they are all just thoughts.
