I just completed the story and its pretty good. The graphics are amazing, great ship controls, really fun to fly around and explore. However, the story is not as compelling as the first game, there's definitely a lot of repetition, but overall liked it better than No Mans Lie and Starfailed combined...! ... show more

The game is terrific, but this review is really about owning a physical copy of the game. The included game music is downloaded from the manufacturer's website with a code, comes in wav, mp3 and flac files. The art book is relatively small but of good quality and has some nice concept art in it. The disc and hard case are very nice, and it all comes in rigid case that houses the steelbook and art book. For me this game is my favorite since Freelancer, and frankly I had to own a physical copy of the game. I've played it on the PS5 and it worked flawlessly all while being about 60gb on my SSD. If you want or need a copy of this game what you get here for the price is a great deal. ... show more

Great storyline reminiscent of games 20 years ago but with modern graphics. Worth the buy if you grew up playing PS1 etc and enjoy a challenging yet simple experience that doesn’t include so much to do it’s overwhelming.

Everspace 2 is a vastly different, and superior, animal to than first game. The first one was a very repetitive roguelight with a bit of story that I didn't care to finish. The sequel is a sprawling galaxy wide action RPG with a cool story, awesome ships and weapons, and memorable characters. Literally everything about it is better than the first game. Probably one of the best space action sims I've played since Privateer, it's that much fun. ... show more
