Features

  • Everlit Emergency Trauma Kit: Uniquely customized by U.S military VETERANS to get you well-prepared in advance to emergencies during the outdoor adventure, hunting, camping, travel, disaster, and accident. Everlit Emergency Trauma Kit is ideal for field tactical medics, police, military, combat life savers, first responders, outdoor enthusiasts and more!
  • Massive Hemorrhage and Circulatory Care: This kit contains the most use friendly, compact and popular survival and first aid supplies for massive bleeding control on the market, which includes: military combat tourniquet, tactical pressure dressing, and compressed gauze.
  • Respiratory and Hypothermia Treatment: Sealing the open chest wound seems like a no brainer for respiratory care. As a seal, a durable plastic packaging of any product in the kit can be used to seal the wound with the first aid tape. A shock often occurs after massive loss of blood, causing a drop of body temperature. The emergency thermal blanket is designed to keep body temperature warm as a treatment for hypothermia.
  • Bone Fracture Treatment: 36 Inch Splint Roll to keep your bones in position, triangle bandage and elastic bandage to wrap around and secure the limb from moving around. Together, those items are purposely selected in this kit for any bone fracture of your limbs.

  • EVERLIT Emergency Trauma Kit, CAT GEN-7 Multi-Purpose SOS
Color: Tan
This is a high quality, well thought out, compact survival/trauma kit. Most everything you need for emergency situations. I purchased it as one of my motorcycle must have items (tire plug kit, tire inflator, tool kit, first aid kit, etc.). It also has room to add disposable masks and other other essentials. ... show more

  • Impressive Quality, Fiscally Responsible
Color: Black
I am nowhere close to being the pinnacle of medical knowledge, but as an EMT who works in the field of emergency preparedness and response, I am very impressed with this trauma kit. A key assumption before continuing with this review; I have not yet performed a thorough inspection of the CAT Gen-7 tourniquet, though upon a cursory review, it does appear to be legitimate and not a copy-CAT (forgive my pun). The kit is constructed very well and with good stitching. The exterior strap provides a decent amount of compression to keep the contents of the kit compact and in place. Comparing this kit with many others out on the market, I find that this kit makes some of the most financial sense, given the quality of the items included. The only things I would add to this kit are occlusive chest seals and cling/roll gauze; the latter being optional, but beneficial in extending the number of injuries or patients that can be treated by one kit by potentially being paired with the hemostatic z-fold gauze for one injury site, and using the Israeli bandage on another. I believe the next evolution of this kit does come with some of those additional items, but it also adds additional band-aids and smaller items that I don't think are necessary for this type of kit. Kit strengths: Well packed; quality (reliable) equipment; good as an IFAK or to be stored in a bleed kit/large AED case, or to be kept on a jobsite. Kit weaknesses: Somewhat large/bulky, make sure it will fit in your intended storage space. The red velcro first-aid patch has small red fibers coming off of it, a very very mild irritation. Final Thoughts: There is additional value to be found in the origin of this kit. Being an American company with an official CAT Gen-7 tourniquet is important, especially if this kit is to be used for anything other than personal use. Are other kits likely to get the job done? Probably. But when it comes to a tourniquet, is "probably" good enough? In Ukraine, many copy-CATS are being discovered. Sadly, they are discovered when the cheaper windlass fails during application in a high-stress environment. Also, it may be worth considering other means of wound disinfection beyond the included alcohol prep pads. Studies have shown that use of hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol can harm tissue and delay healing. In emergency situations, it should still do the job, just bear this in mind. ... show more

  • Grate bundled IFAK kit
Color: Tan
This is a great bundle with very useful items. And plenty of space to add additional items. I will be adding chest seals and more packing gauze.

  • Good kit but barely can close the pauch
Color: Black
Overall good trauma kit, but really hard to close the pouch after it's open.

  • I take this kit everywhere I go
Color: Camouflage
This kit is a comprehensive kit that will come in handy in an emergency. This is not your typical first aid kit with bandaid either, this is a similar kit to what the police and the military will carry for self aid and buddy care and includes a tourniquet, a splint and gauze for the type of injuries that when left untreated, within a short time can make the difference between living and not-living. The only downside I found is that there is zero room for expansion (I bought a de-choker to include with the kit, but it's too big to fit in the bag). This is by no means the product's fault; I just need to figure out how to make my own custom kit. ... show more

  • Legit CAT
Color: Black
Very nice starter set that has room to add some extra things like chest seals etc. No complaints. Oh and the CAT is legit.

  • Little more prepared now.
Color: Camouflage
After one evening when I was driving home from work at midnight on a two lane road, when I came across a single vehicle rollover. The driver was ok, just banged up a bit. But I realized I was not prepared for anything. Not even Band-Aids. Not saying that I could do any good with this kit even though I have some basic lifesaver training from years ago. But another passer by just might have the training. Either way it is better to have it instead of having nothing. With the states going crazy at the moment literally anything could happen at anytime. It doesn't have a 7th Generation turniquite like a few others complained about. It has a Gen3, but when gen 3 was the best available it was saving lives, so I don't get the issue. If I ever need to replace it I will then get the latest. A few things I have added are 4 Chem-lites, a 3" folding knife, quick clot gauze, and a HyFin chest seal dressing. There is room for it so why not. I can't see where I will ever use it but I have it so I won't ever be needing it. Things I think I may still add are better gloves and medical tape. The kit has medical tape, but I like the fabric tape better. As for the items in the pack they seem adequate for what you may need if rolling up on an accident. And it was cheap enough that I would not hesitate to break it out and use it. It is also small enough to remove from the jeep and toss in a back pack if we go hiking or boating or anything else you could think of. ... show more
