After a small fiasco when the department store i had ordered a very expensive M.O.T.B dress sent the WRONG SIZE and had no more in my size, I panicked! I was left thinking only 3 weeks to the wedding Amazon was my only hope. I didn't have much faith so I ordered 6 dresses in different sizes--just in case. One had to fit and not look cheap. I crossed my fingers and Amazon CAME THRU! I ordered 3 of these dresses: two in black/gold in two different sizes and this gem in gold. I have to say THESE DRESSES ARE STUNNING!!!! I'm sad to have to return this gold dress (not because it wasn't beautiful and didn't fit but because it's too close to the wedding parties dresses) but the black and gold? OMG...breathtaking! I felel and look like a princess! And I didn't even open the other dresses--I found my PERFECT dress at a fraction of the original mis-sizes dress I had order i had bought. For the record, I am 5'11" and between a 16-18. I was able to comfortably fit into an XL. Perfect coverage for my upper arms and because it's a semi formal evening wedding at a museum, this color us perfect! It's high quality, doesn't require any altering. Secretly, I wish I had somewhere to wear the gold dress because I'd keep it if I could justify wearing it again! (Would cleaning the house in this gown be over the top? šŸ˜‚) It's absolutely worth e ery penny. Made extremely well, not too low cut and it's appropriately long enough. I am so happy and a bit sad to have to send back the other dresses but thanks to Amazon for again SAVING THE DAY!!!! ... show more

This was a beautiful dress that I wish I couldā€™ve kept. There were simply too many places on me that it did not fit so I had to return it for a refund. I so much wish I couldā€™ve kept it though because it surely is a beautiful gown and appeared well-made.

    • To small. The sizing is a ranged size 2-4, not a true size 4.

The dress was made very well and it was beautiful, but it was not sized as a 4, but rather it came in as a Small US 2-4 and it ran too small. It was not true to size. Had it been a size 4 and not just a small BETWEEN a 2-4 It would have been perfect. We could not zip it up around the waist or the bust. She was in love with the dress, but could not wear it. We ended up having to choose something that was borrowed. She was going to wear this as a pageant dress and could not wear it. If you are buying this dress, please be sure to go higher in size. She generally wears a three, and this was supposed to be a size four. Her pageant is not until the 18th tomorrow so we dont have time to exchange. The seller was awesome to ship this dress immediately and the dress came in early, a day ahead of due date on the 16th, which was wonderful of the seller. The seller made sure we got this dress on time, but, it was not a true size 4. The dress was crafted beautifully and if it was a little larger it would have worked. The 4 stars is because of the sizing. We were using a hoop slip to give it the fuller look. I wished it fit. Could not zip it up. ... show more

Love it! It fit me perfectly. It is a shorter dress than normal, so be aware. I am 5ā€™2ā€ and in my heels I have about an inch clearance above the floor. Perfect for me but if you are taller, keep it in mind. Itā€™s very comfy. Iā€™m in a 12 and found it perfectly true to size.

Beautiful silhouette and color but sleeves are made of a thin tulle that give it a less formal, less expensive look. Similar to style from a more expensive dress brand. Fits true to size and comfortable.

Itā€™s a beautiful dress runs a little small usually wear a 12 and it was just 2 inches from being all the way zipped up. So I ordered a size 14. Iā€™m hoping that will fit good. Runs long so youā€™ll have to get it tailored or hemmed up by someone who knows how I wish you could order your size and length when you buy a long dress so you donā€™t have to go through this. ... show more
