The media could not be loaded. This ladder really exceeded my expectations & we are happy with the purchase. I had expected the ladder to arrive in a larger package, but to my surprise, it folds into compact dimensions. Overall I am happy with the functionality. It has great build quality & these are not very heavy. I got this for various needs in the home when we need height for extra reach & it works great. It's sturdy and relatively light weight for the job it does. We also love that it does not take a lot of space and can be moved a bit everywhere quite easily. Recommended product. My 2 cents below: Pros: - Ladder works well & can hold a significant amount of weight - Extremely good build quality overall. Durable and should last for years - Folds into a 34inch ladder and is easy to store in the corner. I could fit it next to the dryer in the laundry area. While it can be expanded up to 12.5 feet when needed - Comes with 2 safety hooks for extra safety - Has a very good weight capacity of 330lbs - Ladder hold firmly on the floor without any wobble. Steps foot has a non-slip cover & great for that extra safety factor - Very easy to open/close and hence very usable - Safety lock is a nice feature in these & easy to use. When extending the steps, it even locks by itself - It is lightweight overall for such a category of products. I have owned heavier ladders in the past Cons: - Price might be a concerning factor for some but if you can afford then go for it! ... show more

I have yet to actually use this ladder so I may very well to adding to the review later. Upon receiving it I tried extending it and it appears to work fine. My only complaint at this time is with the instructions which leave a lot to be desired. They refer to pictures, using numbers, but the pictures are not numbered so your left figuring out which picture they are referring to. I know it's a small detail because you can probably figure it out on your own but how hard would it be to simply number the pictures. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I originally purchased this ladder for the cabin, but after using it at home first, I think I will keep it at home. It is very handy and easy to use overall. It folds up to be very compact, which I love. This makes it easy to store, access, and transport. After opening up the box, I immediately went to trying to just use it after viewing the poor instructions (see photo). This may or may not have been a mistake, as I realized after using the ladder, I didn’t use it quite correctly: It states that you must extend the ladder from the bottom up, meaning that once you extend the ladder to the desired length, do not expand it further. This leaves the top portion collapsed. This, in my opinion, is not the most natural way to do it. When I first used it, I ended up expanding a bit of the top and bottom - if you look in the photo, you can see my feet between two sections that are not fully opened up. Even though I did this, it still worked fine (I weigh about 225 lbs). A picture in the directions tells you not to do this, but not why. The directions also tell you that if you need to adjust the length to fully collapse it first, and then expand it again (not sure why). It is a bit “bendy” once you get past about 1/2 way (see picture), but it still seemed pretty solid. The directions also reference figure numbers but there are no figure numbers in the figures. Additionally, the directions do not tell you how to add the hooks (I have included a video to show how to do this). Note that if you leave the hooks connected, you will have to put the removed end covers somewhere (likely these will get lost). Although you can use the hooks on the end to store the ladder, you must remember to secure the attached strap, otherwise once you hand it the ladder will expand until the bottom hits the ground. You must pay attention to how to close the ladder (left side first) -so pay attention to the directions and practice a bit on that. It is easy to do, but if you don’t incorrectly you could pinch your finger(s). This ladder is definitely more compact than an A frame or multifunctional/folding/expandable ladder and is lighter and easier to store and transport. Obviously there are times when you must use an A frame ladder - otherwise, I think this will be my first choice. Better instructions would be a great improvement for this ladder. ... show more

When collapsed, the ladder is compact and easy to transport. The portability makes it a fantastic choice for those on the go or for storage in smaller spaces.     • A Practical and Sturdy Telescopic Ladder but a bit heavy compared to other ladders
A few weeks ago, I was helping my mother install some curtains in their guest bedroom, and the ladder collapsed since it wasn't hooked properly. After picking myself up, we realized that it bent the ladder pretty badly, so I ordered this telescoping ladder to replace the broken one. Overall, I'm fairly impressed with it. However, it's not the lightest, out there and the A-frame aluminum ladder that I have is significantly lighter, but the safety features make up for it, like the automatic safety lock, so that I can ensure that it doesn't collapse like the other one did. But thankfully, it's not so heavy that I can't carry it around where my mom needs me to work. Which, you know, doing free work for your parents is always a blast! :) So this is the first telescopic ladder that I have ordered, and despite my initial concerns about thinning tubing, I'm impressed with this ladder's sturdy build. And since it is telescopic, it's perfect for the limited storage that my parents have in their home. And it's nice since it fits easily in my trunk for tasks that my mom voluntells me for at her craft fairs. In summary, this telescopic ladder is a reliable and practical investment, outperforming heavy ladders with its ease of use and efficient storage.
