The sweater is very cute and I receive a lot of compliments on it when I wear it! There are larger knit holes in the pattern so I wear a white tank underneath. The material is soft and somewhat warm. The "V" design is a slimming pattern. The sweater is tighter at the waist than I expected based on the photos. The sweater design is "V" shaped vs a box shape to allow for more room around the waist. It also was not as long as I was expecting based on the photos. I am short and was expecting to have enough material to tuck in but the sweater fell just above my pants pockets (definitely not enough to tuck and "puff" like the photos). Overall, I am happy with it. I am concerned long term about the wear of the material and suspect that it will begin pilling quickly. Since I purchased later in the winter season, I am hoping to get at least another couple years of wear out of it. ... show more

I am overall very pleased with the look and fit of this sweater. I wasn't sure what to expect, since there was only 1 review when I purchased. First, what caught me off-guard: I ordered the gray stripe and what I received was really more greige/tan than the cool gray I had expected. Also, the fabric, while fairly soft, is clearly acrylic and I had hoped for a higher cotton blend. Next, fit: this has a slouchy fit in my normal size, but I like that for coziness and wouldn't size down as the hem is the most fitted part of the sweater. There is no band on the hem; it finishes flat on the edge. The v-neck is attractive and of modest cut so as not to be revealing. The sweater has drop shoulders, giving almost a batwing effect, and the sleeves are extra long, so tall women should enjoy that. They are a bit long for me, but are easily pushed up. Other points of interest: the knit has open "eyelet" details, so a tank or cami is helpful for coverage. The fit is narrow at the hem, as mentioned, so you need a very smooth waist on your pants or the waistband will show through. To mitigate this, the front tuck helps. The chevron design is slimming even with the slouchy fit, and I will wear this often in the upcoming cooler months. Shipping was much faster than advertised: I was told to expect 6-8 weeks, and it arrived in just under 3 weeks. I love this sweater & find it very flattering. There are tiny eyelet holes in it, so you will get chilly if it's cold out, but all in all this sweater was everything I expected it to be.

Don’t know why, but it makes my skin itch. Yes, I’ve hand washed and line dried but still itchy. Have to wear a shirt under it. It is cute, fits well, very flattering, but just wish I could wear w/out shirt underneath!
