This is my holy grail moisturizer for winter with dry, eczema-prone skin. It works really well in Minnesota’s cold, frigid air and snow without feeling heavy or greasy like thicker creams. Even though it feels lightweight, it provides great moisture and protection. My eczema does not react to this at all, and it actually helps repair my skin barrier in areas where I get dry patches and flare-ups. I recommend applying it more than once a day during winter to help protect and strengthen your skin barrier.     • Literally the best moisturizer on earth.

I have been using this Etude moisturizer for years. I must have gone through at least 15 bottles of it as this point. It's the best PM-last-step moisturizing product I've ever found, because the texture is perfect and it never pills. I love the cap mechanism as well, it's clever and prevents the bottle from getting messy from constant use. I always wake up with calm, smooth, and glowy skin because of this stuff. I have oily-dehydrated skin that's also acne prone, and this moisturizer never clogs my pores, despite being on the thicker side. I use the lighter gel version of this Etude moisturizer, the one that comes in a jar with a little spatula, in the morning before my sunscreen and makeup, because the 2x Intensive Cream is a bit too thick for my AM routine. I tried using the gel version in my PM routine but it doesn't work as well. I recommend trying it, especially when the set of 2 bottles is on sale. If they made a gallon of this stuff available for sale, I would bathe in this moisturizer. ... show more

    • Amazing for acne prone skin

As a super sensitive and acne prone girl with combination skin, this has been one of the best moisturizers that hydrates my face deeply without making it super oily. Even with shea butter as an ingredient, my pores are not clogged and I have yet to break out, even though I usually react to it. It has a creamy but lightweight texture that calms irritation and redness, and I’ve noticed that my skin feels softer and more balanced since using it. I also love that it has minimal ingredients and no fragrance, making it safe for daily use even when my skin is flaring up. If you have sensitive, acne-prone, or easily irritated skin but still need moisture, this cream is definitely worth trying. I typically only use this at night, because it does tend to feel a bit oily when you put it on initially. This sensation fades after a while and makes my face super soft. A little definitely goes a long way. While other people don't really enjoy the cap, I actually really like it. It prevents me from accidently squeezing and wasting a lot of product. The media could not be loaded. Great for irritated, acne-prone skin - but packaging could be better. have acne-prone skin and I'm always cautious with thicker creams, but ETUDE SoonJung 2x Intensive Cream has been surprisingly gentle and non-breaking-out for me. My skin is currently very irritated and compromised, and this cream has been calming, soothing, and supportive for barrier repair without clogging my pores. The texture is rich but not greasy, absorbs well, and works great when my skin needs extra TLC. I've had no new breakouts while using it, which is a big win for my sensitive, acne-prone skin. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the packaging — the snap-on lid doesn't stay closed securely, which is a bit annoying and not ideal for travel. ... show more

I love this moisturizer! Quite literally saved my skin from a winter dryness disaster. My Aesthetician recommended this brand to me and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She told my skin barrier was compromised and I needed hydration/moisturizer asap. It is so lightweight and is perfect for wearing to bed or underneath makeup. It absorbs in my skin almost immediately (clearly I need moisture lol) and makes my skin feel so so soft. I would buy this again and I would like to try their face wash from this brand as well! The rich version of this literally rescued my skin in the dry Colorado winter. I have super sensitive skin and it's a constant battle to not irritate it but also keep my skin barrier hydrated and healthy. I've been trying cerave & a few other common recommended moisturizers but they all make me break out. This one does it ALL, hydrates, soothes, doesn't break me out (an actual miracle). I slather my skin in this at night and wake up hydrated with no irritation. I feel like I'm always chasing holy grail products and then the manufacturers change the formulation and I'm on the hunt again, please Never change this cream.
