  • Great Date Night Reconnect
Edition: 2nd Edition
This game is great. I opted for this version since the box is more portable and this one included dice to mix it up. Honestly, we rethrow the dice often because I don’t care what my teen self would have to say about anything. This is a great conversation starter- you learn things about your partner you would have never thought to ask! This is a great deck to pull out during date night and the dice make it more repeatable. Excellent gift for any couple- but mostly for you and yours! ... show more

You may be surprised at how easy the tough conversations get started with this item! With an open mind, and some vulnerability, can be a ton of fun!

  • So much appreciation for Ester Perel!
Edition: 2nd Edition
This game is an absolute hit at the close social gatherings! The questions are diverse, engaging, thoughtful, and challenging. This is a high quality product. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to be more intentional with how they spend time with those around them. If you're struggling with getting to know people, this is a great tool to engage everyone in sharing about themselves. This bypasses the small talk phase and takes you deeper. While the cost of this is higher than some alternatives on the market, this game is a standout among them all. It is not kid-friendly, so this is something to keep in mind. ... show more

  • Such a fun game!

I pulled out all the risk-eh cards so we could play with my whole family.... including my granddaughter. So fun, it had us all laughing!

  • I don't find the questions relatable. / It's too angsty for me.
Edition: 2nd Edition
I'm sure this card game is insightful and intriguing for some people... but not for me. I found there were many prompts that had undertones of deceit and dishonesty that I personally did not resonate with. Questions like: "I lie to my therapist about..." "The last time I ghosted..." "My social media presence would lead you to believe..." "I hope no one ever finds out about the time..." "I hope my kids never find out about the time i..." These questions presume that the game player lies in some way to others either directly, through omission, or projecting an image. I don't operate in this way, nor do I surround myself with people who operate this way either. In the same vein, there are also many questions regarding sex and sexuality that also feel come from a locus of discontent. Ultimately, I felt like this card game would be best enjoyed by the kind of people who get quoted on @overheardnewyork. While I'm all for creative ways to foster intimacy, there is an angsty tone to this game that I find salacious rather than healing. ... show more
