This foundation used to be a crème in a jar. Estée Lauder has liquidized, modified and updated its formula, and now it’s a masterpiece. Great coverage, many shades and sunscreen. My favorite feature is the texture; so flattering! Just a suggestion: they may want to consider a less expensive container to reduce the price a bit. That way, we could buy it more regularly and still be able to afford groceries also. lol

The most beautiful foundation ever. It’s luminous without being shiny. Gorgeous finish without looking heavy. Just looks like beautiful perfect skin. It’s pricey but a little goes a long way and nothing makes my skin look as flawless as this. Plays well with all other products I use. My only recommendation is not to over moisturize the skin prior to using. Re nutriv has skin care ingredients already in it. I find it applies better and last longer without too heavy moisturizing products applied beforehand.

I ordered this foundation because I have always been pleased with the quality of Estee Lauder products and I wanted to explore this as my skin is starting to age. I have been really impressed with the performance of the foundation, though I did notice a bit of oxidization as I wear this. I ordered the 2N1 Desert Beige color, which seems to be an ok shade for me, but might be best in the summer when the oxidization will be less noticeable. In the dead of winter, it starts to read a little orangey on me. I was impressed by the match though, given that I selected a color online with minimal guidance. I appreciate that this has SPF 20 at least, but I do wish they would just go for it and do at least SPF 30, which is the bare minimum we should be wearing every day. I like the consistency and texture of this foundation, which is almost like a thick serum, and goes on very smooth. It does recommend shaking it before use, but if you're not checking the directions, you could miss that, so be sure to shake it. The coverage of this was nice, not too heavy, but definitely giving some coverage to smooth out imperfections. You can also really build this, so you get an appropriate coverage for you. Once it dried down, it really did seem to stay well. I think you could safely get 10 - 12 hours out of this foundation, which is great. This is part of Estee Lauder's Re-Nutriv line which is quite pricy, but does appear to support aging skin nicely. I haven't noticed it doing much for the fine lines on my face, but it hasn't gathered in them like some foundations do, and my skin does look really pretty when I wear it. I wouldn't recommend this for someone with young, perfect skin because you don't need much support from your foundation, but for someone whose skin is beginning to show signs of aging, this is a good option to create youthful looking, and cared for skin. It is quite pricy, so I would also only recommend this if the price is comfortable for you. If you're looking for a miracle foundation in a bottle, this isn't it. But if you have the means to purchase a foundation that costs $140, and you've got aging skin, then this is definitely worth trying.
