This cream is excellent and just what I needed. It does have a light cucumber smell just as another reviewer stated. The smell is pleasant enough and does not linger. I really like this cream. However I can only use it around my eyes and brows (which is where I needed it most). For some reason it made my cheeks very itchy. I did not get a rash, just redness of my skin. I just do not use it there.
