This is the absolute best polish I’ve ever used! It goes on smoothly, dries fast, and last at least a week without chipping. I’m super rough on my hands or it would probably last even longer. The top coat is super shiny too!

I am tough on my nails as I ride horses and the barn chips just about any nail polish. Its great to not only have a polish that dries but also holds up reasonably well with tough wear and tear. Is it perfect? No. Is it the same as gel? No. But its not gel. Its a better version. No peeling your nail polish off, no sitting there waiting for it to dry. I threw out all of my conventional nail polish when gel came out and I purchases my own at home kit. Essie has made a believer out of me though. This is a great alternative to when I know I will want to change colors quickly. Tips: Yes the clear coat gets dull after 4 days or so...just put another coat on! The polish dries quick but the shape of the brush helps you spread the polish easily. Once you do your nails once or twice you will perfect the technique. ... show more

I really like the color, but this set of color and the top coat didn’t come in a nice little box for gifting like shown in the picture. Since it’s for me, I am fine with it, but I would not be happy if I was using it as a gift for someone else. I just want others to be aware.

I love the Essie gel series of nail polish. This pale pink color is just what I was looking for for summer. The polish goes on smoothly with no clumping. The color isn't completely opaque but it gives good coverage, a smooth texture, and a durable gel like finish that will last. I use a base coat, 2 coats of polish, and 2 coats of topcoat. I keep my hands out of water for at least 8 hours. It has a shiny finish that does not dull or chip. My manicures usually last for a week. And that is with cleaning and working where I frequently wash my hands. ... show more

This is two coats of the pink and one top coat. I already had it on for 4 days. I like that the top makes the nail polish dry quicker. Since it’s regular nail polish, it does take a while to dry so I put it on before I sleep and it works great. The nail polish doesn’t chip for me but the tip of my nails always loses color fast. I do wash a lot of things and use my hands a lot so it’s pretty good for it not being real gel. Removing the nail polish is so easy as well. I do have to redo the nails weekly otherwise it gets dull and can crack and chip. ... show more

Love the color! It’s a light translucent blush pink! I use a natural base coat, wait for it to dry, then apply 2 coats of this polish.. super important to let each coat dry first before applying the next! I then applied the Essie gel top coat that come with!! For this look I also applied a top coat that has slight silver glitter for a hint of sparkle & shimmer effect! I let this glitter coat dry and applied another coat of the essie gel top coat! The polish is not thick and last about a week and half before I start to get any hint of chipping! Also do not feel the urge to peel off, it hang on to your nail as a gel polish would and can damage the top layer of your nails! * add cuticle oil too ( I forgot to here.. but if you do it also helps maintain a professional look) ... show more
