Easy to use, performed as advertised, but it took a few extra Rinse to get rid of all of the product. I think that's because I used more than the label recommends. Next time I'll know, more isn't always better.

I tried this coffee pot cleaner, but I ended up having to use a whole bottle, instead of the amount it said. I have a small Bunn McCafe pot that was getting gunked up by the very hard water we have in Southern California. This pot only gets used a couple months of the year when we go visit in the winter. The pot was running slow, so I decided against using vinegar like I normally would and tried this descaler. I should have stuck with the vinegar, it's cheaper. I ended up having to use an entire bottle to get most of the scale off and even then, it wasn't quite back to normal. Pros: It's easy to use. Just pour it in the reservoir. Cons: It doesn't work well with Bunn pots. It takes quite a bit of flushing water through to rid the coffee pot of the chemical smell and taste. Save yourself the money and hassles. Just use plain white vinegar.

This descaler is great but it leaves a taste to my coffee even after flushing everything multiple times as instructed. I eventually had to run vinegar water through it to help.
