  • Best PS5 controller
Best pro controller out there for ps5 it’s not even close. the mouse click buttons and TMR sticks are a life changer now the dual sense feels cheap quality to me haha.the re-mappable buttons and tall right stick are a game changer as well helps a ton in arc raiders for me with movement and shooting and reacting quicker all while never having take my thumbs off the stick or very minimally taking it off. controller feels solid, nice grip and nice feel on your hands. high quality make and again the button clicks and the mouse click triggers are chefs kiss. the controller last way longer in battery life compared to dual sense. one minor inconvenience is that it rarely ignored my input on a mappable button which feels like there’s a lag but it happens 1/10 times. price point is a little steep but if you can shell it out it’s totally worth it and super premium and convenient. very happy with the purchase ... show more

  • Top Tier Controller With Lackluster Playstation Functionality
Alright here’s my feedback on the controller: Overall it’s a well made controller that has all the hardware and should be the standard for all controllers going forward. It definitely feels more like a PC controller than a PS5 controller though. If Playstation made an Edge controller with the components of the Razer it would be perfect. Pros: Mouse click buttons and triggers are a welcome change Having 4 back buttons is still the way to go but has a learning curve - Thumbsticks are smooth and feel more responsive. - Ability to customize the sticks with different heights and tops (dome, concave) Neutral: haven’t found a use for the claw buttons up top. Console in general needs to expand controller capabilities so we can map buttons to things like Push To Talk, Switch between Party and Game chat, etc. Cons: Powering on the controller does not power on the PS5. - Mic mute button doesn’t work for wireless headsets. Have to use a 3.5mm cable connection - Can’t play wired with the cord being USB A and the PS5 pro only has that on the back of the console ... show more

  • Real world use
There’s a lot to unpack here. I waited a couple weeks before writing this so I could use the controller extensively. Pros: This is a beautiful, very well-made controller. The sticks, buttons, bumpers, paddles, and D-pad all feel excellent. The additional programmable bumper buttons were the main reason I chose this model, and they’ve delivered. I’ve had zero missed inputs, zero lag, and no interference with my 2.4 headset. Inputs are sensitive and crisp and exactly what I’d hoped for. Cons (depending on preference): The bottom two paddles are placed in a spot where some players might trigger them accidentally, especially if they’re not composed gamer. This doesn’t affect me personally since I use the top two paddles and the extra bumper buttons, so I removed the bottom ones and didn’t even map them. The included USB-C to USB-A cable is shorter than I’d like, and I would prefer USB-C to USB-C. Not a big deal for me because I use the dongle in the back of the PS5. Lastly, the paddle covers are a nice addition and work well, but they do have a slight amount of movement when installed. Not a dealbreaker—just something I noticed. Final Thoughts: I’m torn between giving this a 4 or 5 star rating. Realistically, it feels like a 4.5–4.7, but I’m choosing to rate it 5 stars because the positives greatly outweigh the small quirks. Although nothing is perfect the short coming are minor. ... show more

  • Good controller, just not for me
The media could not be loaded. I was initially very excited for this controller. It has the four back remappable buttons along with TMS analog sticks. Being a PlayStation 5 user, the aligned analog sticks is a must for me. The good things with this controller is the body build quality, it feels very stable and strong, the clicky tactile buttons are a nice touch, and the opportunity for different map multiple keys is very nice. My neutrals for this controller is the accessibility app, this was fine, but a little confusing. When I initially mapped the keys, but wanted to change it on the controller, I found myself having to go to the app to make this adjustments. Having to put the controller in pairing mode every time you need to remap is a slight nuance. Another neutral for me was the grip, not phenomenal, but not bad. What made me not a fan was the feel of the shape of the controller (personal preference) it did not feel like a PlayStation five controller, so when I played games, it didn’t feel comfortable in hand. I don’t think this is a bad controller, it just wasn’t a good fit for me with this price point. Also, after about a day of use, one of the back button starting to feel a little wiggly, but still function, I worry that this might become an issue over time. I even tried to re-screw the paddle in, but the screw was already tight., The wiggle came from the button itself. Other notes: Annoyances I had in comparison to a dual shock. controller is not being able to mute my microphone audio and not being able to turn on the console with the controller. I didn’t get the opportunity to test this out, but I’m sure the battery life on this controller is excellent! I feel if you’re wanting a pro controller and had played Xbox in the past, and this may be the perfect fit for you. Also, I realized I like outside/inside back paddles in comparison to the stacked paddles on this controller. Consider this when making the purchase. ... show more
