Mascaras are a personal preference thing BUT it’s hard to not like it. My personal preference is I don’t want to curl my lash before a mascara , and that curl should last through the day not droop, want length as well as volume. Not overly dramatic (at least not in one coat) so I have the choice to build it up or not and can wash off using a oil based cleanser without harsh rubbing. I’ve used many mascaras and I only buy moderately expensive makeup items that is my preference. I am about to run out of my first one and want to spend more but struggling to make it make sense. This is that good. Mascaras I’ve used/tried in the order of how long I used them / re-bought : love the effect Too faced damn girl gives but it drops the curl in hours and also tube dries out fast. But for a couple hours Uh-mazing thick volume. Better than sex : very good for length and volume( more thick volume than this Essence less than Damn girl) but doesn’t curl up a lot or stay curled as long as Essence. Big Monsieur mascara : length and volume and curl but inconsistent because the wand picks up soooo much sticky product that I kept wiping before applying and really hard to remove even with oil cleanser. Rest of them I used but never finished and don’t care about : Mac stack (prickly hurting plastic wand) , Smashbox , tarte, Real magnet, bad gal, etc, Rare beauty, Sephora volume , lash idole. Others I might want to try, Charlotte tilbury push up I believe, PMG, maybe YSL lash clash. ... show more

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE I Love Extreme Volume Mascara Crazy Volume. I bought this for the first time last year when I saw it on TikTok. I have very straight lashes that don't take well to mascara, they usually fall down as soon as I apply it. Not with this mascara. My eyelashes look longer and thicker, but still natural. I really like this mascara. I usually wear it with another one so I get all of the mascara benefits possible haha. This one does a good job plumping up the lashes but doesn't make them clump together. I think some of the other essence mascaras are better, but this one is still good and a really really good price! ... show more

I have small and straight lashes. When I curl them and apply the mascara I can see the difference but it does leaves flakes. After a while use there's flakes on my cheeks and under eye which is fine by me but would recommend like a tissue or something to wipe it off but other than do like it the smell isn't strong either ... show more

I’m very picky about my mascara because I have to curl my lashes first before applying my mascara. And some mascaras make my lashes fall down afterwards.
