I have purchased a number of screen protectors with various application procedures. I have come to purchasing multiple protectors for a single application because I am either getting fingerprints on the protectors due to need to reposition of bubbles under the protector that I am unable to get out. I thought the application procedure seemed a little too easy in the product description but for the price I figured it was worth the try. Well, let me tell you, it was sooo easy. I purchased two screen protectors since in the past I have rarely been able to do the placements on first try. You must remove the second protector from the white application tray as well as the grey tray in the white application tray. Once these are removed, the IPad fits perfectly in the tray for application. The entire process from cleaning the screen with the supplied cleaning kit to removing the plastic film took literally less than 5 minutes. It came out PERFECT. No lint, bubbles or fingerprints; crystal clear and so smooth. Some protectors fit poorly or not at all with protective cases. I have a ZAGG PRO keyboard case and the screen protector was perfectly placed to fit the case with edges placed exactly evenly all around the edges of the protective case. This has been an issue with other screen protectors with them not being centered exactly to allow placement inside the case. I will never purchase another brand screen protector. ... show more

*EDIT* ESR Customer Service for the win! After being bummed out about my first try with these screen protectors, Theresa with ESR’s customer service team reached out to me to express concern for my experience with their product. She wanted to make sure that I was a satisfied customer and sent me out an expedited replacement set of these in addition to crediting me back for the money that I had spent, which definitely helped me out because I had needed to buy an alternative in the meantime. Wow! I received the credit to my card and my replacement product in just a couple of days, and am happy to say that the replacement worked just as it should. No material was trapped under the film this time, so what happened on the initial order was only a fluke. Thank you, Theresa, and thank you ESR for being a stand up company and caring about your customers. A member of my family was also in the hospital most of the week, which I was concerned with at the time and did not install my replacement immediately because I was understandably busy. Theresa wrote me to express concern and care for my family and to let me know that our well-being was the most important thing and to not worry about being in a rush getting back to her. This is so rare anymore for a company to have a human relationship with customers, and is so appreciated. Original review: These screen protectors are… nice in theory. Unfortunately, while the glass is nice and of good quality, and the installation is simple and well made, the protectors themselves are evidently not packaged with much care. I used BOTH of these and am unhappy with them, as they BOTH had some foreign fiber or specks under the protective sheet that you peel off just before installation. The screen was thoroughly cleaned, dried, and all dust was removed with the stickers and was flawless both times… and now I don’t have a screen protector still because I refuse to have huge bubbles with stuff stuck under them on my screen. I guess I should have ordered a Spigen, but ESR has treated me so well with their other products that I decided to give this a shot. UPDATE: I am updating my review and adding a star to this - As I called out in my review below I felt the ESR kit when I got the new one was exactly what I was looking for and needed. My opinion of ESR has only improved since. the ESR team reached out and without my asking issued a refund to apologize for the first delivery even though it was probably due to a return not being properly vetted by Amazon (which I was leaning towards in my review). Keep up the good work ESR. The screen protector itself was good and does the job. (ESR kit is good and easy to use and apply to the screen so 5 stars for ESR. The issue I have and hence the 3 star rating was that the first item I received was visibly used. items missing from the box and the 2 screens had bubbling from someone obviously taking the protective backing off. Not sure who is at fault this was 3rd party vendor - shipped by Amazon - but whoever it was was trying to supply a used item as new. Pretty shoddy in my book. ... show more
