Whenever I buy cases, I look for something that will protect my phone without adding too much bulk while also showcasing the beauty of the device. I feel as though ESR paid attention to these things and provided a case that is both high-quality and compliments instead of overshadowing the device. Grip I have sweaty hands, and I am happy to say the phone case provides enough grip that it did not slip out of my hand, nor did I feel as though it might at any point in time. Kickstand Though I never really use kickstands because my phone is always on some mount, I am happy to see that the kickstand is not made of cheap plastic. I am not sure if it is aluminum or some other metal alloy, but it feels of quality, and flipping it open and closed has this very satisfying feeling that you get from a well-constructed component. At no point did I think to myself that this kickstand would eventually break. The kickstand is flush with the device, so you don't have to worry about something sticking out in the back as you hold the phone. When I took the case out of the box, one of the main things I wanted to see was if the case felt cheap. I can say the case has a quality feel that provides enough cushion to protect the phone. The kickstand feels very sturdy and not flimsy like most I have used from other brands. Clarity I know that clear cases can be hit or miss because of yellowing, even when they have anti-yellowing technology. It is just the world we live in. But I feel as though the case has a clarity to that even if it is slightly yellow, it won't be as bad as some others I have used. I will try to revisit this later in the future to let you know if/when this effect starts to happen. The only thing I wish is that the case could have incorporated the Magsafe rings. I feel that everything today associated with the iPhone seems to naturally have MagSafe rings. If you don't care about this or hate the look of the MagSafe ring, then I feel you are safe with this case if you want clarity, a kickstand, and a nice grip. ... show more

This case was not the right size for my phone, however, the company has reached out and are very friendly as well. They are VERY customer focused and I really appreciate that! All in all this is a great quality phone case. Too bad I bought the wrong size but I would consider it again for my iPhone down the line when the Apple case eventually falls apart like they always do. The color was nice. Case so far is fantastic. Still able to wirelessly charge, nice materials, the stand is great, seems to have extra protection in spots where it’s important, but isn’t bulky. While not the cases problem, it came in much later than anticipated. What was supposed to be next day took over a week. And in that weeks time… my BRAND NEW (week old) phone came plummeting to the ground from a ledge I have put my phones on for years (never had one fall) shattering the back. Really nice design. The stand swings out to the perfect angle to support the phone vertically and horizontally and the kickstand in fully integrated into the profile of the case. This may come at a cost in durability as my kickstand broke when it got caught in the extended position. Thankfully ESR fully stands behind their products and quickly issued a replacement. My last phone case was very difficult to remove for cleaning. This one is very easy to remove, but also very sturdy - I cringe thinking of how many times I've dropped it or it fell out of my pocket. I got the cover with the stand because I hoped to use it when learning Spanish and/or watching videos. It works great! My hands are free to do other things like take notes or eat. It also decreased the cramping in my fingers and wrists. When my Apple iPhone silicone case wore out prematurely (less than a year), I needed a replacement. This case has proven its worth. It fits my phone perfectly, and the kickstand is a nice plus. I discovered that I use the kickstand more often as an extra grip (extended between my fingers) than as a stand, although it does the latter well. (Don't trust the kickstand if you set the phone in portrait mode. It works, but simple physics means that the center of gravity is high. If you nudge the phone, it'll topple. Save the kickstand for landscape mode.) The case fits more securely than the Apple case, but I can remove it easily when needed. EDIT: After 19 months of near-continuous use, the leg of the kickstand snapped off at its base.Simple metal fatigue, I'm sure. The rest of the case remains as attractive and functional as it was when new. ... show more
