The case came in very sleek, minimal packaging including easy-to-follow instructions on how to install the case. Looking the case over, the construction of the material looks to be very sturdy with excellent quality. While it wasn’t mentioned in the description, the packaging also included a cleaning brush for the interior of the AirPod Pro case as well as a piece to assist with taking the case off. I’m really surprised by how tough the case looks and feels. There’s definitely more additional material between my AirPod Pros and anything that might harm them. Getting the earbuds out is as simple as flicking the switch, meaning no more accidental openings.

I really like this case, and I am being overly critical on giving 4 stars, I would give 4.5, but that would be rounding up from 4.25. The color is great, the material feels good in the hand, it does feel like a premium product, but the price is very mid, so a good value. The fit and finish are very nice. MagSafe charging does still work, however the thickness of the case makes you pay attention to placement. I really like the slide latch, so if you drop your case, the buds stay inside. When you slide the latch, the lid pops open, very nice. So why drop a .5 point? 2 fiddly things: 1. The careful placement on MagSafe charger, very minor, but not automatic, 2. The slide latch, I have found that your hand must be lower on the case, or as it pops open, bumps the finger in the back and bounces shut again. Guaranteed fix is two hands holding low. For me, the guaranteed one hand method is to hold the bottom of the case, with the case horizontal, then I can have the finger out of the way, and lid just pops. While this has never happened yet, I can see the risk of a bud falling out. Fiddly yes, but very true for me.

This case keeps my airpods secure and free from dirt and pocket grime. The added latch helps to keep my airpods secure inside their case, especially when I accidentally drop my case. The magsafe magnets built into the case are extremely useful in allowing me to charge my airpods on the same charging pad as my iPhone

I have had silicone AirPod Cases previously. The kind where you have to peal down the flaps that cover the lid. This would keep it closed and the pods protected when the case is dropped. I still do like those types of cases. But the selection was limited and the idea that the lid would flip open on this case without peeling down the case was appealing. LOL The most important purpose of a case is to protect not only the case, but not have the pods fly out of the case when it is dropped, but still allow you to charge the case/pods. I previously ordered a different case (It was so cute with daisy's). When it arrived I gave it a test drop. The adhered lid immediately popped off and the pods flew out of the case. I returned the first case immediately! I did more research and found this case. Video reviews showed that the lid would pop open when you slide over the button. I really liked the feature. Things I liked: • I ordered the white. It has a pearl like finish on the case. • I did a drop test and it passed. • The sliding button appears to regulate a magnet. One that attracts which snaps the case shut when you start to shut the case and one that repels - which pops open the lid. • I found the longer cord attached to the case was much more convenient than a carabiner which I had; and liked. This would be a personal preferance. But I am a fan. I have only had it about 3 weeks, but I have decided that this is my favorite case so far. I highly recommend. UPDATE: I have now owned the case since March of 2024 (18 months) and the case still looks and works like brand new. I highly recommend this case. It is the best I have ever had. I have had the silicone and they eventually tore. Buy this case and you will never need another unless you buy a another set of Airpods.

Update after 3.5 months: I still love this case, the lid is sturdier than I thought, even though I keep using it as a fidget toy. The only thing is the strip of glue that comes on the lid is not strong enough, I replaced it with a stronger one, doesn't bother me at all but customers should probably know. Original review: I was scouring all my regular shopping sites for an Airpods Pro case that met the following criteria: Must haves: 1. Has a secure closing mechanism that requires you to press a button to open it. 2. Doesn't have an extra piece on the side to connect a lanyard or a carabiner because I never do and it makes the case much larger. Optionally: 3. Has magnets inside to help connect to Magsafe chargers. 4. Has a button to easily access the back button on the Airpods case. This is the only case I found that meets my must haves and it even meets the optional ones, plus the pop-up mechanism is cool. The case feels very nice to hold, it also seems to be quite protective but I won't drop test it on purpose. Magsafe charging works perfectly, I tried both an official Apple charger and a cheaper 3rd party charger and both work. My only concern is that the pop-up mechanism is so much fun that I play with it way too much and it might break early on but we'll see.
