Description

Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks and quality that working professional musicians require in an instrument. The LTD Deluxe M-1007 offers the fast feel and smooth playability of the M Series and provides it in a 7-string version for serious brutality. It’s a neck-thru-body design with an extra-thin U-shaped 3-piece maple neck and Macassar ebony fingerboard. For a little extra speed and comfort, it has a natural satin finish on the back of the neck. [remove] It makes use of a comfortable alder body with an eye-catching quilted maple top in See Thru Black Sunburst Satin finish. The sound of the M-1007 is powered by a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers (Alnico in the neck position, Ceramic in the bridge), with a push- pull control to activate the second voicing. You also get Grover tuners and a Floyd Rose 1000SE tremolo with stainless steel screws for excellent stability and longterm reliability.

  • Amazing guitar. Finish not so amazing.
I love this guitar. The Fishmans sound great and all of the hardware is top notch. The sunburst black is beautiful and I love how the opaque finish really only shows in the right light. Neck feels great and is fast and smooth. The only gripe I have is the "quilted" maple veneer. Honestly....one of the worst examples I've ever seen on any guitar ever. No quilting or remotely unique character almost at all. Im surprised the luthier saw it and decided it was acceptable to use. Luckily its a dark guitar and I'm probably the only one that cares. But at $1,200 ....really? There is a small portion of whatever clear coat they use that is already peeling off now as well. The strap button on the bottom was stripped. Luckily thats an easy fix. 1 star gone for the flaking clear coat and low quality veneer. Everything else is great. ... show more

  • Very well built guitar.
I've owned this guitar for about 6 months now. The build quality is pretty decent. I've noticed a few very small flaws dealing with the finish on the guitar. Other than that it is a pretty solid guitar. Fast and flat neck profile. The fret work is pretty level and the neck is pretty straight with a uniform bow profile when doing truss rod adjustments. The Fishman Fluence modern pickups are pretty good pickups. The only thing I'd change about this guitar is the Floyd Rose 1000SE bridge. It's alright for what it is and does come with a few upgraded steel screws but all in all it doesn't have the same stability as an original Floyd. ... show more
