At first I didn't think this quite fit my aesthetic. Yet I decided to take a chance on it. As a mama of little kids, the document carry option sounded too appealing, even if it isn't quite what I thought. In person, I like the style of this. It's neutral and sleek without being too dressy/business-like as I had first thought it might be. Yet it's fancy enough for to wear with nice pants. It's not so oversized that it looks out of place on a small frame. As somebody with sloped shoulders, I do find the straps don't stay in place as well as wide fabric ones; but this is a common purse problem for me that many women don't have, so I won't fault the purse designer. My favorite aspects of this are the size and document pockets. It's big enough to be really useful to a homeschooling mama of little kids without being unwieldy. I can fit a nealy full-sized planner and commonplace book on the rare occasion they'd be really useful out with me! This is great for conferences and appointments. Plus I can contain documents. See the pictures of a packet I got in (note it was a tight fit). If I could improve something, I'd alter the document pockets. I'd make them hold slightly more. I can only barely get a folder, or 1/4" paper packet in each, and the front won't close over the folder, while the back has no cover. Still, I can put a folder in the inside briefly to get papers in and out of an appointment. This seems durable. It feels sturdy (a little heavy too). The construction looks good. The part that's likely the least durable is the finish, as it could eventually peel. I expect it will last long if handled with care though. All in all, I love this. It's a nice style. It's very useful in what it can hold. And I think it's made well. So I consider it a good value and would select it again--just right away next time! ... show more

I got this quilted tote for my wife and she has been carrying it almost every day since it arrived. She loves the unique diamond pattern and how it manages to feel both polished and relaxed at the same time. The size is perfect. It easily fits her laptop along with her wallet, water bottle, and everything else she needs without looking overstuffed. The leather accents and gold hardware give it a nice elevated look that works equally well for her office days or weekend outings.
