I bought the eShave Verbena Lime pre-shave oil, shave cream and this after shave lotion in the hopes of coming out smelling like a lime. Well, that part works, and this post shave lotion adds a nice touch of fragrance, moisture for my face, and does a nice job getting the red out when my shaving technique causes a bit of irritation on my neck. I don't feel an immediate relief or soothing sensation when this lotion is applied, as I do with some other after shave products, but the aforementioned benefits do, in my opinion, deserve high marks. I also like the light hint of lime, as it not only coincides with its pre-shave and shaving cream cousins, but it isn't overbearing, which I like. There's nothing I can't stand more than any cosmetic product leaving a strong scent that stays on you all day until you can shower it off. Many men need a soothing aftershave lotion as the skin, no matter what method is used for shaving, does come away a bit raw. Anyone who uses an alcohol based aftershave will know what I mean...it stings. This product does soothe the skin and it moisturizers as well. The negatives are in it's initial greasy feel and just about no lime odor. I have switched to an over the counter skin moisturizer recommended by my dermatologist and then use a spray cologne. I do use this product from time to time but would not go out of my way to buy it again. ... show more
