My wife has been wearing this for a few weeks now and I'm a little obsessed with how good it smells on her. They bottled up that perfect beach day scent. You get this gorgeous coconut oil base that reminds me of sunscreen (in the best way possible), layered with vanilla and these floral notes of ylang ylang. The longevity is pretty solid too, I can still catch whiffs of it on her 6-8 hours later, though it does get really subtle by then. For 1.7 oz at this price point it's good value for the money, especially considering how addictive this scent really is. This is definately a warm weather fragrance, so if you're looking for something year-round you might want to find something for the fall/winter. Pros: - Perfect summer/spring scent with tropical coconut and vanilla blend - Good longevity (6-8 hours of noticeable wear) - Fair pricing for the size you get - Seriously addictive fragrance that gets compliments Cons: - Very seasonal - probably too summery for fall/winter wear - Becomes quite faint after the 6 hour mark

This Escada perfume has a bright fruity-floral smell that feels fresh and cheerful. It lasts a few hours on my skin without being overpowering. The bottle very looks pretty too. It’s a little sweet for everyday but nice for spring and summer. Good gift option.

this is a lovely summery tropical perfume! escada does those great. the bottle is nice and sturdy with a lovely sunny gradient running through it, and the whole thing makes you feel excited for summer. the scent itself feels 'orange' just like the bottle, it's sweet and tropical and fruity. the coconut adds balance to the fruitiness, and gives it a very slight creaminess. to be honest, i'm not sure i would spend $80 on this! as nice as it is, it doesn't feel as expensive as the price tag suggests. you could definitely search other retailers or buy this when a discount comes up. overall, i'd recommend this as a fun summer perfume for vacation or beach nights.

I wasn’t familiar with any fragrances from Escada before stumbling across this YUM one. I love scents that smell like tanning oil and summer and musk and the slightest bit of vanilla and that is exactly how I’d describe this one. If you are familiar with SdJ, it’s almost like they melded at least two of the signature parts of SdJ scents. And if you love SdJ the way I do, pretty good chance you’ll love this one too. Turns out Escada is one of the MANY lines from Coty! I’ve known Coty since I was a child and I’m OLD now. Go look up Coty. They are huge! They are responsible for everything from drugstore endcap fragrances to some seriously high-end products. This Cascada line is somewhere in the middle. As I mentioned above, the fragrance is a combo of suntan oil but without the heavy coconut (it’s there, but it’s VERY mild), musk, a hint of vanilla, and lots of tropical notes. It screams summer or island vacations. But it’s also musky enough that I’m positive I won’t be able to wear it in the summer, as my own notes of menopausal grossness will not blend well with it. It doesn’t take much of a spritz to make a statement, it is VERY long lasting to the point where when I wore it to an event last night, I could still smell it on me when I woke up this morning. It also leaves its trace in the room where I spray it, as I could smell more of it in our bedroom last night when we got home. Again, not a complaint and merely an observation. The bottle is so pretty! It looks exactly as pictured, and I’ve included my own photos with bottle in hand to hopefully help with estimation of size. It’s 1.6 ounces and labeled on the bottom so it should be completely TSA-travel safe. Highly recommend, and will definitely be ordering more from Escada.

I really wanted to love this. I'm sad that I don't. Don’t get me wrong, this is a lovely scent. It’s beautiful, summery, and cheerful, with a hint of cream. It reminds me of a Sol-style fragrance, so if you like that type of profile, this may be right up your alley. I LOVE perfumes - my favorite is Pleasures, so I am a summery scent kind of girl...just not this one. The scent isn't light but it isn't harsh either. It hits the nose with a balance of fruit and cream and summer vibes. This is definitely not something you'd wear in the winter - unless you live in the tropics lol. It's kind of strong at first but the dry down is light. There really is no throw when it dries down; you'd have to be really close to someone for them to smell it. The longevity isn't really there either. It might last through a dinner date, but it definitely won't last through a workday without a respray. Aside of that, the bottle is beautiful, and the spray is a fine mist. I don't think it's worth what you pay but to each his own. However, I think based on the beautiful bottle and presentation, it is definitely a gift-worthy item for a girlie who loves light summer scents. I'm just not that girl.
