The pedal’s enhanced definition digital tuner delivers a smooth, accurate, and visually pleasing tuning experience. Unlike a traditional volume pedal, the digital screen also provides a visual depiction of your volume level. If you’re in need of a tuner pedal, why not have a world-class volume pedal too. Double tap anywhere on the upper half of the screen to select between three modes: volume only, tuning only, or volume + tuning. While the tuner is displayed, double tap anywhere on the lower half of the screen to display the pitch menu. Then single tap any of the frequencies to change the reference pitch of the tuner. Pedals are set to the standard 440 Hz, but settings from 432 Hz to 447 Hz are readily available. The touchscreen can be locked or unlocked by simply holding the lock icon for three seconds. The VPJR Tuner can be used as a master or gain control on your pedal rig. It is compatible with almost any 9 to 18 volt power adaptor on the market. The mono input jack can accept both passive and active mono audio signals with 9 to 18 volts of headroom (depending on the power supply), making it an ideal tuner pedal for both bass and guitar. The VPJR Tuner pedal features a compact, rugged aluminum housing and a stronger, more durable PVC coated Kevlar cord to ensure a smooth, consistent tension throughout the foot sweep. The pedal tuner is topped with a textured grip pad for comfortable and secure foot control.

GLAD I FOUND IT!!! A bit pricy but well worth it, especially as you are getting a great tuner as well. It is really a great Tuner - Active Volume - and even shows volume level brightly on a large display. This is so useful for live performances. The tuner saves tons of board space. I cant notice any signal change but I am a little hard of hearing due to the hundreds of performances over the years. By the way the Fender tone-master is the bomb & is is soo light It totally works with my Parallel Universe Telecaster. For you guys with these huge boards. I know I have had several in the past and still do. This little board is the way to go, I made it for like $10. I just take the effects I will use for THE Particular performance I am going to. It is not impressive but is simple to use. Believe me if you are doing a concert and looking at pedals you WILL SCREW UP your performance. This pedal gives me ALL of what I need in one package. I'm using this primarily for acoustic guitar, sometimes bass. I really like that the pedal is EASY to read from a standing position. The screen is BIG and clear. It's accurate. VERY accurate. I have yet to find a guitar with a pre-amp/tuner that is fully reliable. This is spot on. The VOLUME CONTROL also gives a BIG visual read out of your volume level, so I can actually see how much room I have for adjustment, up or down. Finally, when you bring the volume all the way back (down) the pedal not only mutes your instrument, but it takes you offline so you can safely plug and unplug without that nasty "POP". There's no room for 90 degree cables to plug in when you're patching in other pedals and not much change in volume until you get to 8-10. The media could not be loaded. It replaces two pedals. The tuner is very accurate. I use it on an acoustic guitar. I play rhythm at about level 7 into a looper and then go to 9 or 10 to play lead on top. Important: it doesn’t add any significant noise at the volume I play.
