I like these mini picks for jazz guitar as well as the jazz 3 guitar picks from dunlop. These 1.5 picks are the perfect bite for jazz guitar as are the dunlop 1.5 tortex jazz III picks. I find them awesome and cheaper than blue chip picks (don't know what the hype about those picks are) and blue chips are too pricey for me and swear they are so special ( not to mention pricey!!!). They are $35-$75 for one pick. I can get a whole gross of strings for that or several packages of other brands of better quality picks for jazz guitar for those prices. I've tried a zillion picks, in the hunt of the perfect pick for me. So far these are the best. I like the size of them because they are big and they don't slip out of my fingers. I like the triangle shape because I feel like the point of the pick is more precise. I like the thickness of these picks because they are just thin enough to not get caught in the strings when I am changing to another string. I've tried the thicker version of these picks and noted that I couldn't pick as fast with them. So to summarize, they are the perfect thickness, perfect shape, and perfect size. Of course this is my personal experience and it may not be perfect for you but I highly recommend them ... show more

The shape is great, the thickness is great, the grip os great. The wear however is not so great but you get 6 usable edges instead of the usual 2. I think they are too expensive but they are the best pick i have found so far

This pick is solid and hefty. Great quality. I’m an intermediate bass player who sometimes needs a hearty pick for a certain sound. I normally use teardrops on guitar but went for the variety pack of these to get a feel. Surprisingly, I landed on loving the large shield version and bought more because I wanted more than one. It’s a little pricey for what you get, but I think it’s fair since they aren’t just a thin throw away plectrum that gets chewed up. I have been using the first one for over a year and there is no wear or damage. I got a feeling this one batch will last years if I don’t loose them first. And for the record, I have never lost a white pick LOL. They tend to stand out more than the dark blue or shell I use to use. ... show more

I really... REALLY like these picks. IF the edges and tips could be beveled a little bit sharper, they'd be perfect. Very close to "boutique pick" quality at a MUCH cheaper price.

Never thought I would like a 1.5mm pick, but these are recommended by Ian Stich. So, even though they ar kinda pricey I tried them. This is my pick now. I'm not interested in any other pick. I don't quite know why, but they just work great. I no longer drop the pick. Probably partially because I also changed my grip, but these picks made a huge difference for me. ... show more
