I typically use much harder picks when I play as most of the material I tackle is either metal or blues, both genres that reward digging in a little. Recently got an acoustic guitar, however, and realized quickly my go-to Jazz III’s are NOT ideal for this play style. Never been disappointed with a Fender product, so decided to give these guys a try. Definitely met and exceeded my expectations! The packaging is like any other pack of picks, housed in plastic with a cardboard tab at the top. Easy enough to open. The picks themselves have a lot of give to them, bending back with even the lightest strum. Tested these side-by-side with some Dunlop nylon picks and, oddly enough, I preferred these! Only con would be the grip, but this could also be user error. I’m accustomed to “grip picks,” and have had some of these smooth guys fly out of my hand mid-song. Tightening my grip and loosening my strums have helped a lot, but I’m still more liable to drop one of these than any other pick I regularly use. That small gripe aside, however, the picks are great and the price isn’t shabby either. Would HIGHLY recommend these for a beginner as well, as they’re more forgiving than a rigid pick. ... show more

I got this pick because Justin from Justinguitar.com said to get thin picks. When I use them, they are less punishing than what I would think thick picks would. Thin picks are a must for beginning guitar learners because you can move around the strings easier. Also that amount of picks given is good since your gonna lose your picks. The color of the pick is dreamy and cool. Overall, a very good pick because of it's ergonomics for beginners and its colors. 👍👌 ... show more
