  • Almost perfect
Style: Guitar Pick
I absolutely love these picks. The only downside is there is no large left-handed version. The plastic is a little jagged and cuts into my thumb. I play these picks specifically and sometimes have cut into my thumb by the end of the night. I have reached out to the seller in hopes of having these larger lefty picks added to their inventory , but my emails have never been answered. I'm still a fan of the design and versatility, I just wish they were a little more comfortable. ... show more

  • Buy it! Use it!
Style: Guitar Pick
The thumb strap is secure, comfortable, and perfect. The pick adjusts in both length and angle to fit your grip. It feels and handles like a regular flat pick. Some of the songs I write rock out with a hard, loud beat, and I have embarrassingly tossed three picks while performing. I NEVER have to worry about that again. After I bought one pack and tried them, I immediately ordered three more packs. ... show more

  • Seems like a great idea but didn't work well for me
Style: Guitar Pick
The headline pretty much says it. Some may like these and I thought I might, too, having fought the battle for years of holding onto a guitar pick. For me, Monster Grips, while not totally perfect, work as well as anything else I've tried, and I can use them with any and all picks.

  • This is the Regular Size thumb pick
Style: Guitar Pick
This particular item is the regular size thumb pick and is too small for "normal" size thumbs. I prefer to use a 0.73mm pick, so the thickness is ideal for me. If you have normal size thumbs, you may want to try the D5TB-M-3 model with the "large" thumb pick, although it sounds like it may not be much bigger. I have ordered them to try and will update my review when I receive them. These are being returned. ... show more

  • Best thumbpick I've ever used
Style: Guitar Pick
I've been using guitar picks and thumbpicks for over 50 years, and this is the best, most comfortable thumpuck I've ever used. I one out! more after trying onevout!

  • Best choice by far
Style: Guitar Pick
I damaged my arm last summer badly and required 5 hours of reconstructive surgery. MY hand has yet to gain the flexor tendon back and I have maybe 5% press ability to hold a pick. Before this product I kept dropping picks and /or they would turn in my weak grip. I got these and I can enjoy playing guitar again as i used to ;) As an addendum, I added some rubber dots to each side and that guarantees no slippage. ... show more

  • It’s A Flat Pick and Thumb Pick - All-In-One!
Style: Guitar Pick
I’ve been playing guitar for almost 50 year and have always wanted to use a thumb pick, but never found one that I liked. Until now. This Fred Kelly medium pick feels great on my thumb, has a nice soft tone and is adjustable as far as moving it in/out and forward or back in direction. I’m happy to be relearning how to actually finger pick after doing hybrid picking for so many years. While it’s great for finger picking, I still prefer a flat pick for hard strumming, though it worked well enough a few times when I forgot to change picks. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks and I’m already using it in my shows. Love it! NOTE: If you wish to expand the thumbpick, dip it in boiling water for a moment, and then place on your thumb. ... show more

  • Best thumb pick playing my Telecaster!
Style: Guitar Pick
What I love about these thumb picks is that the amount of pick that sticks out is a little less than the average thumb pick. I fingerpick without a pick sometimes, so if you are used to that, these are great to graduate to. Very sturdy ring, will not break while sizing to your thumb. If you want to convert to traditional pick while playing, no problem, just bring your index finger underneath. ... show more
