  • Great gloves
Size: Large (Pack of 1)
I went out on a limb last year and bought these for working outside at an air hub loading and unloading freight in all types of weather. At first I thought they weren't waterproof since my hands were sometimes damp at the end of the night. Turned out that was just sweet from my hands. They keep out water wonderfully, and if you're moving your hands stay comfortably warm too. The outside held up pretty well, but after a year some stitching started to come loose around three finger tips. But considering the price of these gloves I would highly recommend them and will continue to purchase them (I'm writing this review after just receiving my second pair). However for some reason I received extra large this time when I clearly ordered large. I even checked the invoice and the receipt to see if I accidentally ordered the wrong size. Nope, I was sent the wrong size. I don't have time to return them and get a replacement because it's supposed to snow in two days... ... show more

  • Fantastic gloves for outside work
Size: Large (Pack of 1)
First thing I'd like to touch on here is the heat of these things. I LOVE THEM. There's several reviews here stating they're not warm and I can contest this are almost too warm! I bought these in November and in December and now Jan there's been about three blizzards and sub zero temps and using these gloves for an hour or longer shoveling and snow blowing; these have kept me warm the entire time! Waterproofness is questionable. Note this goes back to my statement above being almost too warm. I was out snow blowing wet snow for an hour and when i had come in the inside of my gloves were soaked. Outsides were wet as well but nothing crazy. I'm assuming my just sweated the insides while out shoveling/blowing. Haven't really testing the phone touch. Not usually on my phone while outside. One time I did, it was like most gloves where it's a bit weird to touch. Dexterity of these is great. I can flex my finger appropriately. Would definitely buy these again. ... show more

  • Waterproof? Yes! Absorbent? Yes!
Size: Medium (Pack of 1)
I bought these for bike commuting in the Pacific Northwest. I used them on one of the wettest bike rides of my life a few days ago. I looked like I had just climbed out of a river when I arrived! My hands stayed warm and comfortable for the 45minute ride (and back!) in lashing rain. I did not feel any cold seepage from the outside at all. My gloves were a little damp on the inside, but most likely that was from sweat. The fit is appropriate for my medium sized man hands. Caution to those with pixie fingers or shovel hands. I think I am a 7.5 glove size. Two things I don't like: 1. The elastic strap on the cuff is redundantly loose. When the tabs of Velcro are lined up, the glove cuff is totally uncompressed. As the cuff material doesn't stretch much, this means you cannot really loosen OR tighten the cuff using this strap. !!???!! I am going to shorten and re-sew the elastic strap to make it somewhat functional. Despite this I think the manufacturer got the cuff size right for access and protection. 2. The glove outers soak up A LOT of water. I weighed them after they had drip dried (but were still wet) and they were 11 Ounces. When dry enough to put away, they weighed 5.5 ounces. I am hoping that it is just the outer facing material soaking up the water, as it would be pretty redundant to have wet insulation. Even if it was just the outer shell retaining fluid, this significant layer of water could potentially sap heat from your hands. It certainly makes them feel heavy!! On my ride, the weather wasn't too cold and my hands felt fine. I will submit a cold/wet review as soon as conditions prevail. 4 stars because the fit and quality are much better than expected. One star off for the absorbent outer and the mysteriously vestigial/spurious strap . My biking habits tend to thrash my gloves (I am on my 5th pair in three years of commuting) so I will drop off another review if I outlive these gloves. Overall they seem a good buy so far!! Recommended as budget wet weather gloves. ... show more

  • Really Solid Gloves
Size: Large (Pack of 1)
I generally don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one here. I farm so I am often outside working outside in cold temps, sometimes extreme. These gloves are a really good middle of the road glove. They offer upper mid range warmth, and decent dexterity given the warmth and protection they provide. Also, they are very durable. I have had these gloves for two seasons now and they show no signs of giving up yet, which is better than I expected. My only issue with the glove is that it takes a bit more time to get them on my hands and situated correctly. The extensive wrist portion of the glove, which provides great protection from the wind, just makes it tricky for me to get my hands in there. ... show more

  • While these gloves are sturdy and warm
Size: Large (Pack of 1)
I ordered these gloves because I work outside and needed something warmer than leather work gloves in the winter. While these gloves are sturdy and warm, they are a bit cumbersome when trying to perform tasks such as writing or opening a container. The gloves are touch screen compatible as advertised but the finger tips are too wide and rigid to effectively use a touch screen device. For example, I can answer a phone call but not type out a text message. These gloves are also waterproof which I can vouch for. However, that means they do not breathe very well. After about an hour, the sweat from my hands will start to make the glove lining damp. This pretty much makes the thinsulate insulation a moot point. Overall, these gloves are warm and well made but they don't work well for me when worn for long periods of time (sweat) or when performing fine tasks. ... show more
