Girlfriend review here - I really wanted to like this foundation. It’s everything I look for in cosmetics. It’s vegan, cruelty free, clean ingredients, light and natural coverage. However, for the price, I expect a much higher performance. I shook as directed and applied with a brush, also as directed. The formula is very watery, which I prefer, but no matter how much I blended, all I could see was brush marks. It started to dry very flaky, and sat on top of the skin like little granules. I was able to somewhat salvage it with a sponge. Next day I made sure to moisturize with a heavier cream and tried again with a sponge. It seemed to blend a little better but not as effectively as I’d prefer. You absolutely cannot run the sponge around the skin or it moves the product in a very strange way, creating an accumulation into one spot. As it dries down, you can’t feel it on the fingertips. But as an oily-combo gal, I’ve never had a foundation that makes my skin feel tighter. Almost drier? This may be great for oily skin but it was uncomfortable for me. It does not hide pores or spots effectively. I’m personally fine with that as I like to stay as natural as possible. Color wise they could stand to expand. I’m very pale and the haze was just barely light enough for me. It’s also quite yellow but that seemed to neutralize my redness. Again, I appreciate everything this brand represents, but it’s just not quite there for me.

I love this foundation! First off, this is by no means full coverage; it's very light coverage so it will just smooth the skin a bit and give slight coverage for redness. This is actually exactly what I've been looking for, but most light coverage foundations I've tried are sticky or are too dewy or don't last very well. This is different! This is actually matte without emphasizing any dryness and stays that way throughout the day (I have normal to dry skin). It still looks like natural, but slightly perfected, skin. I'm also very sensitive to the feeling of makeup on the face, and this feels like almost nothing. The cons though are the packaging and shade range. I always make a mess with the dropper since it's such a watery foundation, and I'm scared to travel with it. There are also only three shades (Haze, Dawn, and Dusk). On the bright side though, since it's so light coverage, the shades are very forgiving. I would definitely recommend this foundation if you're looking for a light coverage, lightweight, matte foundation. It also has natural, good for you ingredients which is such a plus.

I don’t usually write reviews but the only other one here was bad and totally unhelpful. So... I love this brand... and this foundation does not give full coverage... but I like that. Freckles show through... doesn’t settle into lines.... soaks into your face like second skin and never cakes or gets shiny(I do dust my face with cornstarch in the morning... but I have an oily t zone). It oxidizes a bit... I actually mix the darker two shades in summer. You have to kind of experiment ... but I love it. With most foundations I get that dotty pore look on my nose by the end of the day and I hate it and I will not put primer or another layer of junk on my face. This is super easy and natural. Matte finish and only slightly dewy by end of day... not shiny.

I had high hopes for this product. I knew from reviews from other people, not all on Amazon, that there were complaints about it being too drippy or not great coverage, but I was actually wanting a product like that. I was also intrigued by the few ingredients that looked really healthy. I previously bought another shade, I think a few months ago, and suspected it had caused a big breakout, but I was hoping it wasn't the culprit. I bought this one more recently to try again and also I chose this shade to see if a lighter shade would look better. I will say, the darker shade (Dawn) is much prettier and it also looked great layered above a medium coverage foundation. So, now to the point. A week ago I started using this foundation again after spending 2 months of clearing and healing my skin from an awful breakout. After two days of use, my cheeks look like a battlefield. Painful pimples started in the corners of my nose. I've never experienced this type of breakout, although I have been acne prone in the past, I emphasize that I have never had such a raging breakout. I would suggest that anyone who is acne prone avoid this product. Otherwise, someone might find it's a great fit. It did look pretty, but it does start to cause a lot of dryness after a few hours. So major acne and dryness are bad enough not in conjunction with one another, but now to be dealing with dryness and severe acne really stinks.

Love this foundation!!! People say it’s light foundation, but with 2.5 small drops, I say it covers very well. I have acne-prone skin (everything makes me break out) and this does not. I don’t have any active acne currently. Only scarring. But this is not adding to any problems! I will continue to buy this!

I absolutely love this foundation. Its lightweight and watery and it leaves my skin looking dewy and glowing which is perfect for my dry skin. I like the dropper, it makes it easy to apply. Great for everyday wear. Also I love that its all natural and great for my skin!

No issues with the seller whatsoever, just sad that this foundation didn't work out. It was incredibly drying and made my skin feel tight and dehydrated. This may work for me in the summer, but in general it stuck to my dry patches and settled into pores. I don't think it caused any breakouts but have only worn it once. Coverage was light which I didn't mind. May try the oat milk foundation instead. Wish I could return it.
