I ordered this washer/dryer combo for my 85-year-old mom who lives 5 hours away from me. After several years, the dryer on her second EdgeStar brand combo stopped working. I tried to order a replacement from Lowe's, but they kept moving the delivery date back and I finally just cancelled the order. I ordered this Equator on Amazon on January 10, 2021. The estimated delivery date was the end of February, but Mom had it on January 20. That is fantastic since it traveled all the way from California to WV. The gentlemen working for Pilot Freight brought it into her home instead of leaving it out on her porch. SO WONDERFUL! Mom has a lot of red in her home and both of her previous combos were white. She is SO PLEASED that this combo is RED! Mom had someone set it up for her, BUT they failed to follow the setup instruction so the first time she used the machine, it bounced off the wheeled platform my brother had made for her previous combos and made a terrible racket. She tried to hold it down but it "flung her around". As it turns out, the packing material needs to be removed from the stabilizing bars as per the instructions. (NOTE: I would have bought her the wheeled model, but it didn't come in red.) Anyway, she got some help, the packing material was removed and she says it runs very smoothly, it's very QUIET, more quiet and lighter than her previous combos so it's easier to move, does a great job and doesn't have a scratch on it. She says the clothes come out wrinkled at first, but she hangs them promptly, per the instructions, and the wrinkles hang out. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Amazon. I knew you would DELIVER!

I was fortunate that I decided to buy the 2 year extended warranty from Asurion... so this washer only cost me about $100 plus my time and effort to install into my 5th wheel. I called asurion to file a claim, and they said a repair person would call me about my error code E12, preventing the machine from drying. 2 days later, they sent an email refunding me to my amazon account for the washer dryer combo. Being such a chore to get one of these in and out of a RV, I would have rather someone try to fix it... but no, they just refunded me, so now I'm at square one looking for another brand to replace this one. Started getting Error Code E12 periodically after 4 months of use. E12 is for heater fan issue. Called asurion, got a refund. Still trying to use the machine and/or fix it, but limited information available. This is Chinese garbage- assembled (partially) in the US i believe. It does a decent job washing still, but i'm hang-drying mostly now that the E12 error still exists. Note: I use this machine in a vented mode, exhausting out the side of my RV. My 20-yr old Splendide WS2000 was far more reliable, until i got tired of troubleshooting that one; this was supposed to be an upgrade. Splendide at least has detailed pdf service manuals available online to do repairs yourself. Do not waste your money on Equator. I've had a bit of experience repairing my own washer dryer combos for RV use, as I live in a pretty remote area. No company should be selling a large appliance that doesn't even last 6 months. Also- I never had any issues with lint build-up, or items trapped in the drain... which is the go-to solution from the internet people. I'll be doing some more research, and after excellent customer service with the US Splendide headquarters in Clackamas, Oregon... I'll probably go back to Splendide/Westland Sales for a new machine. Just not worth my time to try to patch together this poor-quality Equator appliance... it's infuriating to have to try to fix an appliance after just a few months.

I bought this machine due to lack of space. I wanted something that could fit in a small space in my bathroom and avoid going to the laundry as I have 2 little ones. I was so skeptical before buying. I did my research and read all the reviews on ventless machine and was leaning towards LG because more popular but wanted the vent/ventless option. I was very skeptical with a company with not so much review but I'm so glad I took a leap of faith and chose this machine. Love it, space saver but washes a good amount. Washes great and clothes come out dry. Wanted a machine that I could vent outside but decided to just use it without venting and it works great. At first I did not like the smell of clothes when new but that went away after several washes and now clothes smell great. I never used to use cloth softener but now I use it as they recommended it and I just gave it a try and now I'm hooked. The clothes come out smelling great and love the fact that I just set once and the clothes come out dry. Love that I don't have to deal with wet clothes putting them inside the dryer. Put clothes and forget. Clothes are dry and ready. Don't have a problem with damp clothes. The clothes actually dries completely. I had a problem with mist coming from the soap dispenser portion when the machine was new but that went away. May be it was the positioning but I had the machine just near the sink and used it as a portable with the sink for months and then afterward moved it to a permanent location and it's been working great. No problem. Love love this machine. It washes a good amount of clothes way more than described and does a great job. I usually don't overload it but just a good amount and it handles my family of 3 (2 kiddos and myself) with no problem. The blankets, I take to the laundry but bed sheets washes with no problem. Great little machine. I'm a home owner and hate water bill but have not noticed any spike so I guess it's not bad on water. Uses regular plug so I just plug mine and have barely noticed any change in my electric bill. Love this machine. Look small which is a perfect space saver but strong in performance. Usually don't write reviews but this I have to say I'm very satisfied and just have to take the time.
