  • This has product served me well. The support from the manufacture has been excellent.
Color: Champagne Gold
I've had the Equator 2020 24" Combo Washer Dryer for 10 months. First off, the manufacture contacted me before shipping to confirm the delivery address, and provide critical unpacking and setup instructions. Shortly after delivery, they contacted me again to see how all was going, and see if I had any questions. I had just installed this unit in my 5th Wheel (I'm a full time RVer), and ran my first load of wash through it prior to the call. At that point, I was experiencing a possible issue, and had a theory as to the cause and solution, but had not completed my troubleshooting/resolution process. The lady on the phone initiated a trouble/support ticket while on the phone, even though I felt it was premature for that. But she wanted to do anyway, get it in the pipe, in case I did need help. I thought that was awesome!! I completed my troubleshooting, and was able to implement a simple solution. In short, my theory was right, and my solution solved everything. When support contacted me, I advised what I had experienced, what I believed was the cause, and how I solved it. The gentleman from support concurred with everything. So, for the problem: This unit has two dryer configurations. Vent-less, which uses cold water and a condenser to dry, and vented. I chose vent-less, rather than boring a hole for the vent at this time. I don't recall the specs, but the manual advises how much space is required around the unit on top, sides, and back for air flow. In vent-less, the unit generates and holds more heat than vented. My 5th wheel had a cabinet specifically for a washer or washer/dryer combo, pre wired and plumbed except for the dyer vent. This cabinet met the specifications for top and back, but was short for the sides. Thus, would not allow enough air flow around the unit during the vent-less dry cycle. The unit would basically lock up (the electronics/control panel) during the dry cycle (no issues during wash cycle). I added a fan to move air through the cabinet. With the fan running, all works fine, and has done so for 10 months. I do think that venting rather than vent-less would be a better solution. The unit uses more water and generates more heat, in vent-less/condenser mode than when it's vented. Not really practical in an RV, especially if boondocking situation. I may go ahead and vent my unit at some point. Meanwhile, it just works great. Plus, I don't always use the dryer feature. I use a cloths line or drying rack for most (but not all) washes when/if practical. My cloths etc. come out very clean!! I'm glad I went with this brand and model. Originally I was looking at a more common/popular brand and model. But ended up choosing this one due to the fact the other brand/model had made a big jump in price right before I was ready to purchase. This caused me to research a little. And, at the time, this unit had a higher percentage of positive reviews, and had a better price. ... show more

  • Says "warranty" in the listing, but you arent really getting one! rwl
Color: White
Worked great for a couple months, then started having dryer issues for vented drying. Called the "warranty" which is a joke. There really is no warranty on this washer/dryer. They will find anyway out of covering anything. We were getting error code E12 every other dry cycle or so. Warranty asked if it was ventes up or down. We said it was installed to vent down. He said oh your warranty is void it has to vent up. We said there was nothing in the instruction booklet that tells you to vent up(and we read it multiple times after this converstion, there is nothing that says venting up is required.) He said there is a picture. There is indeed a picture of what is shown to be a suggestion and no wording that says upward vent only. So now we have this unit we paid over $1300 for a few months ago that wont dry a thing. We changed the vent to vent upwards and it sti doesn't work. So I have to buy sonething else even after paying to reinstallthe vent upwards. So aggravated will never reccomend this unit again! Breaks in months of purchase! No warranty! ... show more

  • Great machine, perfect for small space, clothes come out dry, perfect in so many ways
Color: Merlot
I bought this machine due to lack of space. I wanted something that could fit in a small space in my bathroom and avoid going to the laundry as I have 2 little ones. I was so skeptical before buying. I did my research and read all the reviews on ventless machine and was leaning towards LG because more popular but wanted the vent/ventless option. I was very skeptical with a company with not so much review but I'm so glad I took a leap of faith and chose this machine. Love it, space saver but washes a good amount. Washes great and clothes come out dry. Wanted a machine that I could vent outside but decided to just use it without venting and it works great. At first I did not like the smell of clothes when new but that went away after several washes and now clothes smell great. I never used to use cloth softener but now I use it as they recommended it and I just gave it a try and now I'm hooked. The clothes come out smelling great and love the fact that I just set once and the clothes come out dry. Love that I don't have to deal with wet clothes putting them inside the dryer. Put clothes and forget. Clothes are dry and ready. Don't have a problem with damp clothes. The clothes actually dries completely. I had a problem with mist coming from the soap dispenser portion when the machine was new but that went away. May be it was the positioning but I had the machine just near the sink and used it as a portable with the sink for months and then afterward moved it to a permanent location and it's been working great. No problem. Love love this machine. It washes a good amount of clothes way more than described and does a great job. I usually don't overload it but just a good amount and it handles my family of 3 (2 kiddos and myself) with no problem. The blankets, I take to the laundry but bed sheets washes with no problem. Great little machine. I'm a home owner and hate water bill but have not noticed any spike so I guess it's not bad on water. Uses regular plug so I just plug mine and have barely noticed any change in my electric bill. Love this machine. Look small which is a perfect space saver but strong in performance. Usually don't write reviews but this I have to say I'm very satisfied and just have to take the time. ... show more
