I always get the large size and it never disappoints. This review is for the black ink and is the one that goes through ink the fastest. The other color cartridges can last longer. So far, the black cartridges seem to last anywhere from 6 to 8 months. Even though they are a bit costly - in the end, when you consider how long they last, it isn't too expensive.
