  • Worth Every Penny
Color: Grey&Yellow
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this keyboard! I got the yellow and white colorway, and it is beautiful in person—clean, bright, and a perfect addition to my setup. The keyboard feels very sturdy and well-made, and my keycaps fit perfectly with no issues. There are tons of lighting effects to choose from, which makes customizing it really fun. I also appreciate the multiple connectivity options. I personally use it with USB dongle, and it has been completely reliable with no connection issues at all. Most importantly, I love a silent keyboard, and the windcaps are perfect—smooth, quiet, and very satisfying to type on. This keyboard exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely buy it all over again. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Amazing board from the two brands I like the most, work hard and play hard with the board
Color: Blue&White&Black
The media could not be loaded. The EPOMAKER X Aula F108 PRO is a full-size mechanical keyboard that fits exactly what I wanted for office use. I already use boards from Aula and Epomaker at home, including the Aula L99 and Epomaker RT85, but I specifically needed a 100 percent layout with a dedicated number pad for work. For application development, spreadsheets, reports, and general productivity, I find a full layout hard to replace. At around $90, this tri-mode mechanical board feels like a strong value for a full-size option with this many features. The overall build quality is well justified for the price. The housing is plastic, so it does not have the dense, cold feel of an aluminum case, but it does not feel flimsy either. The board has a noticeable weight of about 1.2 kg, and it stays planted on the desk thanks to the rubber feet and multi-layered gasket, battery, and components. The Cherry profile PBT keycaps have a good appearance and resist shine better than cheaper ABS sets, but do not let the RGB shine through. Fit and sizing are exactly what you expect from a 104-key layout, and the two-stage kickstands make it easy to adjust the typing angle. The plastic case is the main compromise at this price point, but the overall construction still feels durable enough for daily office use. Aside from being a mechanical board, the features are plentiful, and another reason you would buy this board. It offers tri-mode connectivity with Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless, and wired USB, along with an 8000 mAh battery. In my use, I can go days without thinking about charging, even with RGB enabled. So far, I’ve used it for almost 3 weeks daily and still have 40% left. The small 1.14-inch LCD screen and volume knob are where most of this board's functionality is configured. I use the screen to adjust RGB, check connection mode, and tweak some settings without memorizing function key combinations. However, not everything is accessible through the screen, so if you like to change RGB patterns or rebind to another dongle, keep the instruction manual close by. You can’t program macros on the screen; they must be done through the web app. The web-based Aula driver allows remapping and macros, and it is straightforward to use if you are comfortable granting browser access to configure the board. The hot-swappable sockets are another plus, giving flexibility to experiment with other 3- or 5-pin switches later. This is definitely a board worth upgrading, and I may end up installing some Durock silent linear switches or some shine-through keycaps down the road. To be honest, though, it’s fine the way it is, and I really do like the keycap blue/black/white theme. In real-world performance, I found the typing experience to be very good for a keyboard in this price range. The pre-lubed Reaper linear switches produce a soft, creamy sound that is audible but controlled. I type for long sessions at work, and the keys feel responsive without being tiring. The five-layer internal dampening does make a difference in reducing resonance compared to cheaper hollow boards. For gaming after hours, the 1000 Hz polling rate over 2.4 GHz feels stable and quick enough that I do not notice lag. The anti-ghosting works as expected, and I have not experienced missed inputs and spacing in the keys, and the distance between the main board and the num pad is what I expect. I rarely miss a key when typing. There are a few limitations to keep in mind. The plastic housing means it will not match the premium feel of higher-end aluminum customs. Also, when peeling the protective film from the LCD window, the adhesive was strong enough that it started to lift the clear plastic window itself. I couldn’t actually get the plastic protective part off, and the little green tab that helps start the peeling process actually came completely off. I ended up leaving the protective plastic because it didn’t even attempt to start to peel off, and I couldn’t really tell it was there anyway. I did have to rub off a little bit of adhesive left behind. I didn’t use any alcohol or cleaning agent to do this because I knew it would distort the window otherise. I just used my finger to rub it off. The web driver is convenient, but some users may hesitate to use a browser-based configuration tool, as this may raise some security concerns. I used the web driver on a computer I used to configure devices like this at home, programmed my preferences and macros I typically use, then took it into work. Likewise, you may want to check with your IT department if they allow the use of these keyboards, because I know some places have policy against using equipment from home on work computers. However, if they do allow it, everyone in your office will want one! At this price point, the F108 PRO matches and arguably exceeds my expectations. It does not fully replace a high-end custom aluminum keyboard in terms of materials, but in terms of functionality, features, and everyday performance, it gets surprisingly close. I have a Ducky keyboard that is almost 3x as much and isn’t much better; however, it’s hard to compete with my Keychron board, which has a full aluminum housing. But for around $90, getting tri-mode connectivity, a large battery, hot-swap support, RGB, a screen, and a full number pad is a strong value and something I’m more willing to take to work in a shared-space environment. I would recommend this board to anyone who needs a full-size mechanical keyboard for office productivity but still wants enthusiast features. This can absolutely be used for gaming, too, so work hard and play hard with this board. If you care most about aluminum cases and ultra-premium materials, you may want to look higher up the price ladder. If you want a feature-rich, comfortable, and customizable full layout board that performs well for both work and gaming, the EPOMAKER X Aula F108 PRO is a practical and budget-friendly choice that delivers solid usability and long-term potential. ... show more

  • Great entry-level mechanical keyboard with tons of customization for the price
Color: Black Gradient
This is one of the better budget “creamy” mechanical keyboards I’ve tried. For the price, you’re getting a surprising amount of features: hot-swappable switches, a usable dial, wireless modes, and an actual LCD screen you can load GIFs onto. The overall feel is smooth and consistent, and the sound profile is closer to what you usually see on boards that cost a lot more. The dial is handy for quick adjustments, but my one annoyance is that it doesn’t default to volume control automatically. You have to set it manually each time, which breaks the flow a bit. Once you’re in the right mode, it works fine. The little LCD screen is more useful than I expected—it shows connection mode, battery, and system settings, and the GIF customization is a fun extra if you’re into aesthetics. Battery life has been solid so far with the 8000mAh pack. For anyone curious about mechanical keyboards and not ready to spend high-end money, this is an easy recommendation. You get customization, hot-swap flexibility, decent acoustics, and a good amount of personality without breaking the bank. Pros: Smooth, “creamy” typing profile Excellent price for the feature set Hot-swappable switches RGB + customizable screen with GIF support Functional dial for quick adjustments Strong battery life Cons: Dial doesn’t automatically default to volume Software takes a bit of learning LCD is small (expected at this price) Bottom line: A strong budget-friendly mechanical keyboard with real customization options. Great for anyone starting out or wanting a feature-rich board without paying premium prices. ... show more

  • Great board for the price, only a few minor flaws
Color: Black Gradient
Based on my very oddly-specific keyboard requirements, I was recommended the F108 Pro keyboard. I'm very happy with the board and the various options (LCD screen for battery percentage, backlighting, etc.). I've never been one to fuss over switches though, but I will say these are CREAMY. I have no idea what that means in respect to keyboard switches, but that's the first word that came to mind. They're a little clacky, but not annoyingly so. The caps feel good, and having the letters on the front instead of top will definitely preserve the text. I only have a couple things so far that could be considered negatives: some settings, like changing the time, can only be done through the desktop app; the options dial is a bit touchy and sometimes rolls back or changes when trying to click; charging the board with a power brick while the switch is in the "Off" position still connects wirelessly to the computer and can trigger inputs when you don't expect it to; and some of the key cap characters could be etched out a bit better, but they're good enough if you know what the keys are supposed to be. Overall a solid board at a great price point and I'm happy with the purchase. ... show more
