Description

The Epiphone Les Paul Muse Collection offers both new and veteran guitarists a lightweight chambered Les Paul body that’s easier to hold thanks to the contoured “belly scarf” and thin rim. The hand-set Okoume neck has a Custom “C” profile with an Indian Laurel fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays, a 24.75” scale, medium jumbo frets, and a narrow Graphtech 1.63” nut. The Epiphone Les Paul Muse is also available in a wonderful variety of new finishes. • Awesome!
Color: Jet Black Metallic
What a guitar! I love the weight and the belly cut. Sure beats using a HH strat lol. Couldn’t fine the color I wanted locally or online. The metallic black was only on Amazon at the time of this review. I was skeptical about buying an Epiphone sight unseen, because I have heard of QC issues. But boy was I wrong. This Muse JBM (Jet Black Metallic) is gorgeous in every way! Amazing vendor. The Muse came early and undamaged (I looked over every inch of the Muse with a fine toothed comb) and it’s set up perfectly, all I had to do was tune it. If you’re looking for an modern Les Paul, but don’t want to break the bank, this baby is the “One”. ... show more

  • Beautiful guitar until you look closely
Color: Jet Black Metallic
Upon receiving, I did not spend much time playing the guitar as at first glance I noticed few issues that got my attention. The fret ends are too sharp especially after the 14th fret. They actually scratched my fingers. All frets will need treatment. Taking a close look at the fretboard I noticed paint bleed , nicks , and stains at the edges. Also, some type of a substance by the frets; looks like glue. At this price point I would expect much better finish quality. I did not check the playability, the electronics and sound of this guitar. Edited July 8th - The guitar plays great. I love the pickups sound, the coil splitting and phase shifter. The strings stay in tune or require minor tweaks occasionally. All in all, I like the guitar but the finish quality leave much to be desired. Edited July 12th - I informed the seller of these issues twice with pics. NO REPLY. I contacted Amazon twice and they requested the seller to respond to me to no avail. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I will never purchase anything from them again. The guitar gets 3 stars because of the quality issues I mentioned. The seller gets 0 stars. All in all, I am keeping the guitar. Edited October 22nd - about 2 weeks ago the bridge volume pot started to get noisy and scratchy. Contacted Epiphone, sent them a video and recieved replacement. It's working fine now. However, 4 days ego, the pickups switch selector broke. Contacted epiphone again, no reply so I ordered a new switch from Amazon. I also noticed that the volume pot shaft for the neck pickup is now wobbly and it is just a matter of time before it breaks. I decided to change my rating and give this one a 1 star as I am spending more time fixing it than enjoying playing it. ... show more
