  • Very Nice Guitar
Color: Vintage Sunburst
This is a very nice guitar and plays great right out of the box. It has quality hardware and a nice finish on it. Well worth the money. It's my first Epiphone and I am not disappointed.

  • feels great
Color: Natural
not that i know anything about how a real Gibson feels like but this feels very authentic and stable, most importantly it feels the price it cost and i think i wont ever regret buying it, it sounds rich and a comfortable feel to it, although not putting the strap on the body was a good idea i think, its all preference, because it is pretty headstock heavy like the sg. ... show more

  • Great but for one thing.
Color: Vintage Sunburst
This guitar is smooth and a pleasure to play. Beautiful finish. Fretboard nearly perfect. One problem - it was used about 10 times after which the nut holding the 1/4" jack came off. Had to spend most of a day fishing the jack out, getting it back in place, then putting a new washer and nut on. That being said, the jack is too short to get a nut on further than being flush with the tip of the jack. It can easily come off again with perhaps one turn. Everything is top notch, but why use such a cheap jack? ... show more

  • Awesome!!!!
The guitar it's self is amazing small set up and it is perfect however !! FedEx shipping is trash not sure why they left it in the snow in my front yard instead of leaving it on my steps under the dry awning but they did . Amazon should really allow people to pick who the carrier is I have never had quality shipping from FedEx . ... show more

  • Unbeatable for the Price
Color: Cherry
Full disclosure: This Epi ES-339 was set up by a professional luthier, and I have owned mine for 4 years. I use 47-09 strings on it. It is one of the finest guitars I have ever played and an extraordinary value. The materials may not be the full quality of the Gibson, but the body is laser cut to the same precision. Very nicely crafted and assembled. At this price point, I don't think you'll find a nicer guitar in the semi-acoustic style. ... show more

  • Return finger destroyer
Color: Cherry
The guitar has a great look, but playability is harsh.. I have played guitar for 30 years, and always used Fender Stratocaster ( American Made) during my playing. I took a long break, and just recently started playing again as a form of therapy. I looked for a new guitar just to mix it up a little, and came across the Epiphone 339 cherry color, and when I took it out of package, and started playing it the guitar was hard, the action was terrible, the strings apparently rubbed the fretboard making a terrible buzzing sound, so I went to get one of my Stratocaster and started playing it, and realized that the Epiphone 339 was a finger destroyer, and returned it immediately. I started playing my “American Made”, good looking, good sounding, gentle on the fingers Stratocaster and retuned the Chinese made Epiphone… ... show more

  • Beautiful guitar for the money
Color: Vintage Sunburst
Seller was prompt and guitar and case were well packed and arrived on time. No question that items were new (arrived in original retail packaging) Would not hesitate to do business with this seller again, nor to purchase Epiphone products.
