We used two of these anchors to secure a wooden garden arbor on sloping ground. An online video provided easy-to-follow installation instructions. Installation takes some arm strength. A rubber mallet (not a hammer) and a cordless drill are required. Screws, drill bit and sockets were provided. These anchors seem very robust in their design and construction. This brace is very good. It is easy to install and the design is very effective. My only reluctance is that I'm not sure how well it will hold up in a wind storm or heavy rain. The stake goes about a foot into the ground. It has a slight wiggle after installing. So for now I a have to say it works. I will say if you were to dig around the part that goes into the ground and place cement around the metal stake it will hold a lot stronger. ... show more

Seems to have worked perfectly to repair a rotted standard size fence post. The post was not set in concrete.

Excellent for repairing post that had broke at ground level. Easy to hammer into ground with 5lb sledge. Don't recommend using the screws that came with it. They snap off too easily.

They dont work because you can't screw I'm the screws on the side because the post are in the way. Also I thought I order 4 got 2
