Works very well with excellent glass and a forgiving eyebox. Illuminated dot is crisp, clear and is day bright. 1x presents extremely well allowing fast target acquisition at close range. At 8x you get very good edge to edge clarity. The only complaint is that the reticle is a bit basic, however, is usable. I debated knocking a star off, however, that would be too harsh. Real rating due to the reticle is probably more like a 4.5 to 4.75. It's not the best LPVO on the market but it's a winner at its price point especially given the glass quality and the ability to go to 8x. ... show more

Have this mounted on an M1A. The glass on this unit is exceptional, and if you prefer minimalist reticles with basic holdovers, spring for this optic!

Clear class at full magnification. I only wish the reticle had BDC and windage holds. They really should have done something besides a simple cross hair. Also, the illumination is daylight bright.

Reticle failed in under 100 rds on a soft shooting AR-15. Absolute disappointment. Attempts to reach EOTECH were unsuccessful. At this point a complete waste of $1,300 dollars. Can't say enough how disappointed I am. I had very high hopes for this scope. If you are looking in this price range go with Vortex or Primary arms. ... show more

With less than a month in used, notice the magnification lever getting stiff, Upon inspection notice what looks to be an oring between main tube and magnification laver. Called Eotech customer service and was giving an RMA number. Return the item, after couple weeks I called Eotech customer service and ask for status, customer service confirmed that items was received and under evaluation with team. 90+ days have passed and have not received item or update from Eotech. Poor customer, was expecting from Eotech to reach out and to give update or status. If I had to recommend items to friends I would strongly drive them to other product, like a Vortex Razor for same price. Very disappointed in Eotech. ... show more
