I got this and I couldn’t zero it in at all. So I returned it so I could just buy it from EOTECH directly and my refund hasn’t come in… it’s been 3 months… still no refund

I ordered this with green illumination but got red instead. Also did not come with a battery even though the box had the lithium label. That was a vendor issue though. The brightness of the red reticle seemed to be daylight bright. Not sure it was high noon bright. There is a slight magnification at 1x that is a bit distracting. For a scope that costs nearly a thousand dollars, I was surprised at how poorly it was packed and that it didn’t even come with flip up lens covers or a mount. The illumination was brighter than I expected, so I gave it 3 stars, otherwise I would have ranked it lower. ... show more

The eotech vudu is amazing clear, light and easy to use. Only down fall Is the brightness. If you are out doors the illuminated reticle is useless. But it’s an actual reticle so you don’t need illumination but that’s why you buy a 1-6 so you can have a red dot at 1 power and a reticle at 6 power. Kind of disappointed but that’s really the only issues and battery life. I wouldn’t by again only because of that. And would spend the extra money for a vortex razor gen 3 or a nightforce atacr ... show more

Still a little new to the LPVO gang but target acquisition far and near was a breeze. The trademark donut of death makes close and mid range shots a breeze, and I find myself having little issue with the MOA reticule when turned all the way up. The brightness is not great in outdoors from about high noon to sunset so may be better to stick with no illumination while outdoors. Pretty lightweight and controls and turrets are all simple enough. Really hope for a second generation to address the illumination problem because beyond that this my new favorite optic. ... show more
