Still a little new to the LPVO gang but target acquisition far and near was a breeze. The trademark donut of death makes close and mid range shots a breeze, and I find myself having little issue with the MOA reticule when turned all the way up. The brightness is not great in outdoors from about high noon to sunset so may be better to stick with no illumination while outdoors. Pretty lightweight and controls and turrets are all simple enough. Really hope for a second generation to address the illumination problem because beyond that this my new favorite optic. ... show more

The eotech vudu is amazing clear, light and easy to use. Only down fall Is the brightness. If you are out doors the illuminated reticle is useless. But it’s an actual reticle so you don’t need illumination but that’s why you buy a 1-6 so you can have a red dot at 1 power and a reticle at 6 power. Kind of disappointed but that’s really the only issues and battery life. I wouldn’t by again only because of that. And would spend the extra money for a vortex razor gen 3 or a nightforce atacr ... show more

Wrong reticle to begin with.I wanted the SR1 and got either SR2 or SR3 reticle?? The seller was OPTIC BUDDY.The box and the brochure says SR1..The battery was dead also so had to go buy some(2032 batteries)..yes I double check first..Finally turn on and the reticle was not the right one.I even went to Eotech website and double check too...Also there was no throw switch for the magnifier...and seems like everything was just thrown into the box? All the brochure and stickers was bent up? But if I'm gonna spend $1000 plus on a scope I hope it is the correct one and no loose items. Anyways threw the bead battery back in and shipped it back out for a refund.... will go to my local gun store and buy theirs..maybe a little bit more but less hassel ..Don't know what happen just disappointed and a waste of time. ... show more

Awesome scope. I spent an afternoon with my dad sighting it in. On our hunting trip, I fired one bullet and took home one deer. The only complaint I have is that if you use the screw in lever that allows you to more easily adjust the magnification, it will get in the way of the bolt if set to max magnification. Clarity is nice, so is the reticle, the only issue I have is that the reticle does have some issues with parallax adjustment. Could be me eyesight, really. For this price the turrets really should lock too.
