The eotech vudu is amazing clear, light and easy to use. Only down fall Is the brightness. If you are out doors the illuminated reticle is useless. But it’s an actual reticle so you don’t need illumination but that’s why you buy a 1-6 so you can have a red dot at 1 power and a reticle at 6 power. Kind of disappointed but that’s really the only issues and battery life. I wouldn’t by again only because of that. This is an amazing collection of features executed in a masterful manner: red-green illuminated reticle with push button controls; x1 functions like a red-dot; x2 is fast on targets 0-100yds; x6 with a bipod gets tight groups at range; rock solid quick release; prefect glass for an SFAR 308 Tried their x1-10, but x1 is wobbly and will make you sea-sick and x10 is overkill, IMO. ... show more

I got this and I couldn’t zero it in at all. So I returned it so I could just buy it from EOTECH directly and my refund hasn’t come in… it’s been 3 months… still no refund

Still a little new to the LPVO gang but target acquisition far and near was a breeze. The trademark donut of death makes close and mid range shots a breeze, and I find myself having little issue with the MOA reticule when turned all the way up. The brightness is not great in outdoors from about high noon to sunset so may be better to stick with no illumination while outdoors. Pretty lightweight and controls and turrets are all simple enough. Really hope for a second generation to address the illumination problem because beyond that this my new favorite optic. ... show more
