    • Really Nice Guitar.
This guitar is truly amazing. Piezo pickup, built-in electronics with sound via internal speaker. Tone is good, onboard effects are novel & sound pretty good. It came with nice strings, but acoustic and way stiffer and heavier than I like. I replaced them with superlight electric strings and it plays well. I really like the zero fret. I've had 10 to 20 hours with it now and it's addictive. The more I play it, the more I like it. The small size in its case and carbon fiber build make it ideal for a travel guitar, which was what my purchase was all about. Even so, I find myself just picking it up at home, turning it on, and sitting on the couch with it. No regrets. The Bluetooth connection lets you stream songs, backing tracks, or rhythm things, which is incredibly useful for practice. The headphone connection lets you practice without annoying anyone. Plug it into your own amp if you want. 1. Had to swap out the charging cable it came with. It didn't seem to work consistently or fit right in the charging port. New cable, all good with a fast charger. 2. The app it came with is strange. The tuner is truly bizarre and the drum machine seems only to play on the device, not through the guitar speaker. If you're into that sort of thing, the effects work. Ditto the chord dictionary. The metronome works well and is useful. ... show more

    • Guitar electronics aren't reliable and customer support won't confirm return
I returned this guitar because the electronics were not reliable. The guitar turned off in the middle of a performance. Its been almost 3 weeks, and customer support will not notify me of the reception of the return nor when I will get my refund.

The media could not be loaded. Hello, My nexg guitar I received from ENYA via Amazon on April 20 2022 will not activate. I have tried re-installing the app several times, I have registered under my email and re-registered several times. I really like the guitar and would like to keep it. It will not activate. How do I activate? I can turn it on and use some demo features and then it turns off after eleven minutes and you have to turn it back on. I cannot get into the features in the app and use them on the guitar, just the demo features. The build quality and finish seem really nice compared to the non-functioning electronics which at this point do not work at all. Once I got some drum beats out of the drum machine for awhile but that was buggy and has now that stopped working. Pretty sure the issue is in the software. Please advise, are you guys working on fixing this? Please talk to me in a way I can understand. The last two responses I got from ENYA told me to do what I have already done and I did it again like they said but I believe the software is buggy or maybe I need HELP. Please PLEASE HELP!! I will even attach a poorly shot video and a shot of the error message to try and help you understand. I will follow up on this review if and when ENYA contacts me and resolves this issue - fingers crossed! Have not even tried the mic feature yet as I am so upset about this activation issue.
