Features

  • SPEAKER ON A GUITAR - The FEATURE of the entire NEXG line is the onboard speaker. This NEXG SE is no exception to that. We deeply believe that a speaker inside can make it sound way better than normal acoustic guitars. The bass is full, the mid is rich and the treble is sparkling. Its 30W, but considerably LOUDER. That dynamic range is insane, compared to wood guitars. If you finally got one, strum a big open E chord, and let it ring. You can literally feel the sound vibrating in your hand.
  • THE DSP - Theres a DSP chip inside. It allows you to store 4 onboard presets, with full expandability through the ENYA MUSIC App. You can dial your own settings for the overdrive, wah, delay, reverb, chorus, vibrato, octave, compression, EQ...the list goes on. Those effects are what would beats traditional wood acoustic guitars, eventually. Besides, you can profile the tone of any acoustic guitar onto the NEXG SE. The DSP also provide bluetooth connectivity, so you can use a wireless speaker.
  • SING & PLAY ANYWHERE - This acoustic electric guitar comes with a wireless headset mic, which is perfect for singing & playing. There are separate EQ and reverb settings for the mic in the App. The singing experience is drastically enhanced by the mic system. Singing with a mic and speaker just beats singing with only vocal and a guitar, with all those intricate details of your voice amplified. It just brings out another persona of ourselves. FYI, it can also do vocal removal.
  • COLOR SCHEME - Brand new color palette is introduced to the NEXG SE range. The bright color hue and the Morandi-style saturation really brings, to this acoustic electric travel guitarra, vibrant energy with a sophisticated feel attached to it. There are 4 colors available in total: pink, purple, green and grey, which are all stunningly beautiful. Think about all those beautiful Instagram posts you can have with these colorful guitars.
  • THE PACKAGING - The accessories only come with the absolute essentials: thickened gig bag, wireless headset mic, charging cable and adjusting wrench. But we offer more: charging stand, wireless microphone, monitor earphone, which can be all purchased separately, according to your own needs. These accessaries would unlock the full potential of this guitar across multiple scenarios: gigging, busking, recording, practicing, chilling... the list goes on and on.

  • Great addition for experienced players to just have some fun making tracks and playing.
Size: Basic Color: Purple
I have been playing guitar for many years and am not a beginner. I got this because I have set up a loop pedal, drum machine, amp and guitar to do the same thing and it is a PITA. This makes it so easy to create a backtrack and then put a lead over it and just jam. The pay-ability of the guitar itself is very good right out of the box. It could use some minor adjustment which is easily done but is fine as is. The sounds are really good. Acoustic, electric, special, all good. There are many drum beats to choose from and adjusting speed is really easy. Adding tracks is also really easy. I did not try the mic jack but being able to have someone use the amp for vocals makes this a great guitar for parties or a small venue. Battery life is not an issue, has lasted a really long time...It is a fun guitar. ... show more

  • Excellent guitar at a decent price
I’ve been playing guitar for 35 years and just got back to playing after a multi year hiatus. I wanted something that played well, and was less traditional looking. They certainly delivered. This guitar is well crafted and definitely looks really cool. The sounds is full, perhaps a little less full than a traditional center hole wood guitar. There are a few small cons but not enough to deter me from highly recommending this instrument. First, that action is high. Too high. I read another review that said it can be lowered. It can, there are 2 hex nuts that can be reached through the sound hole. Bring your patience, but it can be done. I loosened the 2 hex nuts with an Allen key. Once loosened about 5-6 full turns, use a wood shim or a a pack of guitar string and wedge it under the neck and you’ll hear a little popping but nothing to worry about. The neck goes up and then tighten the hex nuts back up. Once you do that, it plays much better. Chord changes are easier and solo playing becomes fluid. I found no buzzing after raising the neck. The other con is the back and sides are a matte black and I prefer it glossy. It seems a little plastic like but it’s a carbon composite. I toyed with wrapping the back in matte carbon or a gloss black but now I’m used to the whole look as is and it’s grown on me. The last con is the eq. It’s not very amplified and I find myself turning it of off quickly after I turn it on. The dials on the eq have a tiny indicator that’s impossible to see and should be marked so you know where they are low to high. Every guitar has pros and cons- I think my biggest con being the action was easily fixed or I would have returned it. Now that the action is where I want it, I’m playing this guitar constantly and really love it. This is a quality instrument at a very reasonable price. Enya does make a full glossy carbon edition but it’s hard to find and will run you double the cost. I’m very happy with my purchase and you will be too! ... show more

  • Great value for the price.
I bought this on an impulse after hearing a demo clip on the Enya website. I kicked myself afterward, but thought it would make a nice gift for a guitar playing friend. I watched several YouTube reviews, which were generally enthusiastic. When it arrived, I was fairly impressed by what I found. The case, while not top quality, seems nice. The guitar is heavy. If you like light guitars, this isn't for you. It looks funny. If you like the look of fine woods , this isn't for you. The sound. Well, that is a very individual thing. It doesn't seem to have the overtones and harmonic richness of a good quality wooden guitar. It doesn't sound bad, though. It has some built in effects. I seriously doubt that I will ever use anything but reverb, and not a lot of that. You can use the effects unplugged. They don't seem to do a lot that way, but you can use them. I let my guitar playing son play it, and he was impressed to say the least. The reviews pretty much said that it arrives in need of setup. The factory setup on mine wasn't bad. A lot of people will play it just as it comes. I lowered the action a little at the nut, and took some off the saddle. I also tightened the truss rod just a little. I have since read that it is easy to loosen the neck bolts and just raise the neck to adjust the action. I ordered a spare saddle, and might try raising the neck instead of taking down the saddle, since lowering the saddle usually lowers volume as well. I have been a fan of Elixir strings, but one of the YouTube reviewers said he didn't like the sound they made and replaced them with some Martin Retro strings. He thought they sounded better. I have ordered some and will give them a try. I haven't yet tried it plugged in. From the various reviews I have seen, I think it will do OK plugged in. The fretwork looks pretty good. I have seen some pretty high dollar guitars with much worse fretwork. In general, I think this is a really good value in a guitar. Being carbon fiber, it won't require the level of care a wooden guitar would. I didn't give it 5 stars because I reserve that rating for the very best. I think this might be a really good beginner guitar. It can take humidity changes better than a wooden guitar, and probably a good deal of physical abuse as well. It is well made, so the beginner won't quickly outgrow it, and they likely wouldn't outgrow the sound either. If the fact that it is a Chinese made carbon fiber doesn't bother you, I don't think you could go wrong in buying one. Do have a setup done right off the bat, though. ... show more
