I ordered this inflatable mattress tin a twin size twice and both times it arrived in the wrong size and the bed was another brand. That told me the item number Amazon assigned to this item was incorrect. I returned the mattress both times and ordered the Englander in a twin size from another vendor. I will say that once I received the correct mattress, it is the BEST inflatable I've ever had. It's the closet to the feel of a real bed that I've ever experienced. Super comfortable mattress. I've only used it one night. I followed instructions and inflated it one day. I let it sit overnight to "air out". The next day the "plastic" smell was lower and I didn't see any loss of air. Deflation was quick with the built in pump. I inflated it the following day for that night's use. Everything went fine. It was pretty firm, which I like, and I slept very well. We gave our overnight guests our room and my wife slept in the regular twin and I had the air bed placed right next to her. We were almost at the same height. I bought this bed for family and friends when they came to visit. I bought a queen size Beauty Rest air mattress and this twin one from Englander. Let me just say that I realize these beds can lose air over time. When you purchase a bed from Englander, they mention that. They also mention how to look for leaks and they even send patches to fix up the leak if and when you locate it. The Beauty Rest lasted one time. After that, it loses air rapidly. I have to fill it up every night before using it. I cannot locate the leak; and we have thoroughly inspected that bed, but I suspect it is around the valve which inflates and deflates the mattress. It is hard to fix that (the mechanism is also a bit clunky). This twin bed has lasted through family visits. I also believe that the materials are better, therefore the bed is of better construction. It holds its shape longer and does not lose air overnight. You can tell a bit of air loss after a week of use. But, I'd rather inflate every week instead of every day. Their customer support is good also. I like the twin bed so much I decides to purchase the queen size version. I'll update my recommendation once I see how its lasts. ... show more

We have a queen size that we purchased in Feb 2022. Due to storm damage to our bedroom we've been using this air bed for the past 2 months but last night one of the internal baffle seams separated from the top so the bed now has bubble across the middle. It still holds air but is obviously not as comfortable as before. Today I contacted Customer Service and sent a few pictures of the bed in its current state. They are sending a replacement without having us return the damaged bed. Not only were they quick to reply, they are also quick to act...the replacement bed is due to arrive tomorrow! We got this to accommodate our seven-year-old grandson and he slept well on it. We couldn’t find sheets as deep as needed, even though I ordered some that Amazon customers said they used to fit this air mattress. It really seems a little wider than a twin bed, a little smaller than a double. I ended up using a queen size fitted sheet and tucked the extra width in under one side of the air mattress. The extra width of the mattress seems like a plus for comfort’s sake, even though it makes it a little harder to find a fitted sheet. No leaks yet and easy to inflate. ... show more
