My only complaint is that it is small so I rotate my seedlings under it. Using a light meter I can see that the intensity drops off quickly beyond the edges of the light. A very versatile little light. Small and bright with a nice mounting stand and hanging wires. For the price I'm very happy with it. The cord could be a little longer, it's only 4 ft. My only complaint.

    • For those struggling with remote...
I thought mine wasn't working as well until I realized you need to turn the unit on first with the cord switch, and THEN use the remote for desired settings. The bracket was pretty banged up upon delivery but a pair of pliers straightened it out pretty easily. Definitely needed more protection in the packaging as the small box was banging around inside a much larger box with no packing whatsoever. Works great so far (only received yesterday). ... show more

    • Wheres the red?
This little guy is bright as the sun. You WILL go blind if you look at it even on the low setting it has my eyes messed up. It’s probably more my fault that the seller but i was under the impression there were red led’s. I changed the settings continuously but there was no red glow and all i saw was white coming from it. This is where i looked at the light when i shouldnt have lol. There are 2 rows of about 20 red leds in the middle of all the white. Even looking directly i could barely see it. I was hoping for a little color. Is it infrared? My eyes are burnt out. Im using shades from now on! I wasnt happy with the hanging set up. Cables look week and it hooks onto a sticker with a hook. In humidity those stickers fail. I would recommend you figure out your own hanging set up. Im still happy with it. Especially the price. ... show more

The variety of brightness selection and types of light is good for the plants in my lizard enclosures. NOT TO BE USED IN PLACE OF UVA/UVB for reptiles, since this is highly necessary for them to process calcium.
