    • UPDATED - Read before buying. Good product but with some limitations
I posted a very rough review stating this product doesn't really have a 5000 mah capacity. I emailed the company who replied back and explained that (and this is true, you can research it) wirelessly charging creates heat and is not efficient... Therefore you cannot get the same transfer 1:1 direct as you can with a battery pack that is wired into the device. This makes it look like the battery is not really 5000 mah, because a decent amount of the energy held by the battery is being lost to heat as it charges. That being said, this battery pack DOES charge quickly. The kickstand is sturdy and works well, and the battery is strong. This also includes a sticker battery ring so you could use this on anything that does not have the latest magsafe battery ring built into it (so you can use it on an older iPhone or any android device). For some reason (also verifiable with other products of the same type), these types of chargers do not charge the phone to 100% and in this case this will charge the device to 90% before iPhone seems to stop taking a charge. Again this is 79% on other products. This might be a strange apple restriction, but the seller seems to be telling me the truth in this. It is a shame that it cannot be on the product sales page, but otherwise this device will charge quickly, albeit inefficiently (which is not the fault of the product, but just the nature of wireless charging products). You do not see this when you use an apple magsafe charger that is wired because there is no battery being depleted, but it really is just a law of physics product that will happen with any wireless charger. ... show more

    • Does a good job at adding emergency reserve power.
I tested this on an iPhone 12 Pro Max. During the test, the phone was used minimally to keep track of the progress in the Notes app. Screen brightness was at 50% of maximum: iPhone 12 Pro Max starting at 20% (iOS 'red' battery/low battery status. 20%-40% 30min From 4 to 3 lights 40%-50% 18min (48 min elapsed) 3 to 2 lights 50%-60% 24min (1h12min elapsed) 2 lights still 60%-70% 30min (1h42m elapsed) 1 light left 70%-80% 45min (2h28m elapsed) 1 light left still 80% 2h33m last light started flashing 81% 2h43m charger died The battery and phone did get quite warm, I didn't have a thermometer, but estimated it reached 90f/32c at peak then tapered down to about 80f/26c until it died. I also tested this while at work, in my pocket attached to the phone via the magnet. I climb and walk a lot, up into and out of a yard truck (think specialized big rig for moving trailers at a warehouse.) The device did not separate from the phone while in my pocket, but did twist a few degrees. The phone and device were noticeably warm and I could feel it through my jeans. I had it in my front pocket. Overall, I can recommend this battery to anyone needing some emergency standby power on hand. I especially like that the size was quite slim, about 2/3 the size of a pack of playing cards. Hope this helps! ... show more

The magnet is super strong and I like that it has a slim profile. I’d highly suggest for any iPhone owner. Can charging that with both usb type C and lighting cable which is the great benefit. So happy to buy this product.

I will go back and give this a better review when I get my issue resolved. I love the battery unit’s magnet (it holds on to the phone with a MagSafe case) and the ability to use it at as dedicated battery for my Max or charge other wireless products as a normal wireless battery. Over all the battery and the stand are great…. But for this defect! Right now I have asked to have a new product sent me because my battery after two days stopped fully charging - it never stops charging which is strange behavior. I do not know it this unit is fully charged. The lights keep storing on and off on the last bar and never stop. All my other batteries show stoping strobing when done…. This means I have no idea when the battery is actually fully charged. ... show more

This item DOES NOT fit the iPhone 13 Pro. It hits the camera lenses. It technically works but there’s a big gap between the battery and the phone while charging. Don’t buy.
