If the product goes longer than recommended without staining, it will need to be sanded and may require a semi-solid or solid stain.

The screen measures 73.5 in H x 36 in W making it perfect to partition off home living spaces such as patios, decks, backyards, pools, large rooms, and more! This screen can be freestanding or surface mounted. In order to surface mount this screen on concrete, you will have to purchase (4) 1/4" concrete wedge anchors that are 2 1/4” in length. To surface mount on wood, you will have to purchase (4) 1/4” lag screws that are 3” in length. Each Tiaga Wood Privacy Fence Screen Kit comes unassembled with 1 panel. Please allow approximately 30 minutes for assembly for one panel and 60 minutes to surface mount. This screen is made from premium 100% FSC certified wood. I was really surprised and impressed at the quality of this privacy screen. It is made of wood that smells like cedar. Each board was cut and sanded to perfection. It is a bit tricky to assemble with one person—two people makes the job pretty easy (includes good build instructions too). Some boards had knots and some were clean. I spent more time sorting and arranging the boards so they had a balanced look between knotted and clean wood than I spent on the actual assembly! The screen is in a sheltered place inside the patio so it is sitting on the wooden feet. If it were in any wind, it would probably fall over (so would need to be installed in concrete or a wooden deck, etc.). It is very beautiful and classy. I plan to order another to go with it as two would give perfect screening. High quality product that should last for years, if not decades. ... show more

We needed a 6ft tall privacy screen for our back patio so our nosy neighbors couldn't peep at us through their side window all the time. This Cedar privacy screen fit the bill perfectly. Its expensive, but its made out of solid Cedar wood parts and is sturdy enough to stand up on it's own with the provided feet. It also comes with mounting hardware should you want to anchor it to the ground. Handy. We prefer keeping it on the wood feet so we can adjust it around when necessary. It was very easy to put together, takes one person maybe 20 minutes if done right. There were no defects in construction or with any of the wood pieces. It gives off a nice Cedar wood smell for a while, but that's since dissipated after a few weeks. Some people have used it indoors, which it could definitely be handy for. If using it outside, recommend putting some sort of weather-proofing on it, weather that's paint or a stain. That will help this last much longer when exposed to the elements. This privacy divider came in assembled and assembly was not easy to get right by myself when I had help from my wife I was able to balance it and get it right. The wood pieces came pre drilled and ready and the wood had a very strong smell very similar to rosemary which I actually liked and it was gone in a couple of days after putting it together. The privacy divider is beautiful and I really like the build quality, the base is sturdy and it can be mounted in so many ways and I love that the proper hardware came with it. This “EC18030 73.5in H x 36in W Tiaga Slatted Premium Wood Freestanding or Surface Mounted Privacy Screen Kit (1 Panel)” by Enclo Privacy Screens, is top of the line, which surpassed my expectations. I just love the smell and the look of the Tiaga wood that this privacy screen is made of, as it reminds me of the real stuff as opposed to engineered stuff, which I really appreciate from time to time. This freestanding screen is sturdy, solid, just the right weight (which is easy to move around as needed), and has a very nice texture to it. They arrived in individual pieces, so it will take some time to put them together, but totally worth it. I highly recommend this freestanding wooden privacy screen to others as this isn’t only perfect for providing you some privacy from your neighbors but, for also hiding your junk for a clutter-free looking carport. 🤭 Thank you so much! ... show more

What a well-made privacy screen. The wood came packaged well and when it arrived, you could smell cedar through the box. The slats and beams are thick and durable. With assembly my husband took a while and still had difficulty, even with my help. I sat down alone and assembled it in 20-30 minutes, but it definitely was tricky. It was beautiful once together! The legs are nice, sturdy yet wide so make sure you measure to accommodate for the legs. There are directions and a help number. If any pieces are missing like in our case, there is a number to call. (We were missing the nuts for the legs). We are using it bedside, sliding in front of the window when needed. Eventually wanting to get slat hooks to hang a couple plants off of it. I highly recommend this privacy screen, it's tricky assembling but once together, it's well worth it! ... show more
