I bought 2 of these cedar screens (4 panels total) to hide my A/C unit. Worked out perfectly. Easy to put together & seems very sturdy. The ground was quite hard, so to make it easier I just dug the holes to put the stakes in and then packed the dirt back around it. Also, they smell wonderfully! One of the boxes came without the hardware (I think someone returned the product and forgot to put the hardware box back inside) I called the Customer Service number that was in the instruction booklet and they couldn’t have been more helpful! I let them know what parts I was missing and they had it shipped out within a couple of days. Highly recommend. Would be great for hiding trash cans too. ... show more

I bought this to hide my a/c unit. Assembly instructions were very good, all you need is a drill. The first panel took a bit of time, but after that, the second one went together in minutes. The wood appears to have a light coating of polyurethane or something similar, but it's very thin. I think I will put a coat of poly on it to help preserve the appearance of the wood. It's definitely cedar, you can smell it as soon as you open the box and it's a wonderful scent! (Not that we buy these things to smell them, heh.) I only ran into trouble installing it around my a/c unit, but that's only because I have to deal with several inches of gravel in that part of my outdoor space. Otherwise, it's a great looking item, well-packed, well made, and should provide plenty of air circulation for my a/c. Highly recommend! ... show more

This is such an inexpensive but fantastic way to hide your a/c unit. Our unit is on the side of the house, but faces another street. As soon as we put this up, our neighbors began asking where we got it since it looks very expensive and does the job!
