The Encased iPhone 7 case is a well crafted case that provides both a sense of security and functionality. The case that I have ordered was the Smooth Black. Upon the order's arrival, the case was packaged nicely and came in a Encased bag. While the packaging wasn't the most eye-catching, I am overall very pleased with the product. The case itself is very well manufactured and fits snuggly on the iPhone. The craftsmanship is nicely done as it both protects the phone nicely and does not add bulkiness to the phone. Along with the case, you receive a well crafted belt clip and a spare case butt. The spare case butt (bottom) comes in an eye catching silver/gray color that I personally like. In regards to the belt clip, this may be one of the best belt clips that I have used. While many complain that the clips edges are sharp and need rounded off, I have yet to experience such issue. While it may be in interest to round the edges at the top of the clip, I believe it may be how ones wears the clip. Aside from the edges of the case, the clip is very well crafted. The locking mechanism on the clip works very well and holds the phone strongly while maintaining easy access. Overall, I am very happy with the product and would recommend the case to anyone. I found this a convenient and usable case for wearing on my belt. The case itself for the phone was quite sturdy, protecting the phone for many drops. The holster clip held the phone securely and was easy for me to use to get the phone out. But the holster clip top clip part broke off after 3 years. Should I buy another one or look for a different model? Update - I contacted Encased through their website and they are sending me a new holster and case. They really do have a lifetime warranty - at least for 1 time breaking. I assume the new holster should last as long as I keep this particular iphone. I revised the rating from 3 to 5 star! ... show more

This is my third Encased case and belt clip for an iphone. The design perfectly suits my need for a belt carrier with a decent protective case for the phone that still isn't too bulky. And I regularly find the belt clip convertibility to a stand highly convenient for putting the phone on the table to read when I'm dining alone. I hope the new iphone 17 lasts a really long time since I hate the process of switching phones (no matter how easy Apple makes it) but I'm pretty sure that whatever my next iphone turns out to be, I will be looking for this style of Encased case for it. ... show more

The price is good. I like the phone case. It is protective without being bulky. The holster is good but not great. The clip that holds the phone in the holster is fine. The clip that holds the holster to your belt could use some improvement. The tab at the bottom is too small for a belt to slip into. Also the spring that holds the clip closed could be stronger. If my belt is fastened it's just fine. If my belt isn't fastened it will slip off very easily. That's my biggest complaint about this. Overall I like it and will keep using it. ... show more
