This is the first ever Encased phone case with belt clip I've ever bought, I have to say, Encased, you've won me as a customer! The case itself is sturdy, while soft for your Pixel 6 Pro, it's also screen less (don't need a screen protector anyway for curved glass) Simplicity of taking apart the front of the case from the back then placing phone face down in the front, then putting the back around the front while the phone is sitting in the front chassis. Just like you'd do with an otter box almost, but this case and clip is way better than otter box because of the big lip clip at the top holding your Google Pixel 6 Pro securely! I read the reviews on the otter box case for the Pixel 6 Pro and I wasn't amused, for 1, the belt clip wasn't centered in the middle and some reviews said it didn't hold their phone securely this being the notch for the clip to rest in being off-center. Anyway you won't have that problem with these Encased phone case with belt clip, the clip holds the case securely and there's no notch for the lip to clip into. So either way you dice it, these Encased phone case with belt clip with always give you piece of mind and security! ... show more

This is a very sturdy, protective case. I'm surprised it didn't come with a ballistics report. It is extremely difficult to remove the phone from the case once it's in the case but the case with your phone inside unclips from from the holster with ease. I like it.

    • Very solid case, I like it quite a bit, but a couple minor shortcomings.
When researching cases, I liked this one a lot but was slightly reluctant based on the number of one star reviews mostly centered around getting the phone in the case. It wasn't rocket surgery, but instructions would certainly have helped some of those one star folks. (1st minor shortcoming) With a two piece case like this, you separate the back shell, insert the phone in the bezel from behind, and sandwich it with the back shell. It's not difficult, you just need to know you have to do it that way. (sorry PhD guy!) My only other ding (2nd minor shortcoming) is that the top clip/latch of the holster is kinda bulky/clunky. It works fine, but the back overhang is inconvenient when reaching for the belt clip to remove it from the belt. I suspect this clip will eventually be a point of failure (like the belt clip itself often is) but time will tell... Aside from those two points, this is an excellent case and exactly what I wanted, something beefy... I'm not gentle on phones! The case's protection seems spot on, the raise bezel is the 'right tool for the job' and I even like that the belt clip IS the kickstand vs. something separate. You need to put the phone into the case with the screen facing out to use the kickstand for viewing, which some might find less convenient, but I don't do this much, so it doesn't bother me at all. I also very much appreciate how secure it feels to grip the Pixel 6 Pro with this case on it... This is by far the most slippery phone I've every owned, lol! Be sure to get your self a good screen protector to go with the case. The raised bezel won't help against protrusions, so I wouldn't rely solely on the case to protect the screen. I often 'try' a few different cases before finding the right one, but this one's a keeper... Overall score is a B+ for me. ... show more

    • Amazing protection even from water
This case has protected my phone very well from occasional drops. It’s a bit bulky but for a good reason. It even protected my Pixel 6 Pro while it was submerged for 3.5 hours under my boat dock. Phone was still powered on when I recovered it and I was able to make a call !! Don’t recommend immersing a phone in saltwater but if you do, make sure it’s in this case 👍 ... show more

    • Impossible to get on the actual phone
This case is indeed big, and seems rugged. But be aware that it is so rigid, and so tight, that it's virtually impossible to get the phone into the thing. After struggling for 20 minutes, I gave up rather than risk damaging the phone by pushing on it too hard -- or if I did get it in, being forever unable to get it out again. Perhaps there is some clever way of flexing the case edges that will make the insertion easy. But be aware also that the case comes with NO instructions -- so this physics PhD couldn't figure it out.
