Our mattress is freakishly fat. Most standard King sheets end up shooting off the corners into our faces the moment we shift even a little during the night. From years and years of fighting to make a fitted sheet fit this behemoth, I have a collection of sheets with blowouts on the seams that are beyond repair. In my desperation not to end up sleeping on a bare mattress and to quit fighting seams bursting like fireworks, I bought this sheet. Since it listed as fitting for mattresses 18-21" deep, I figured I'd give it a go but not get my hopes up because every other deep pocket sheet set I've bought has just not cut the mustard. And that's where this special, wonderful sheet breaks the mold! It fits our overstuffed monster of a mattress with even a little room to spare. The sheet has elastic around the entire perimeter, which means it's going to hug the entire mattress, not just the corners. There are elastic straps on the corners to give you even more slip resistance, and that's a real plus I've never had in a fitted sheet before. As if the excellent design weren't enough, we got the super bonus of this being THE softest sheet we've ever purchased. I didn't wash it in special soap, didn't do anything to make it softer; it JUST IS! This sheet is buttery soft, and I'm truly impressed with its quality and construction at such an affordable price. We share our bedtime with three fur babies, and I am happy to report that even with a lot of tossing and turning and my fur kids never seeming to sit the hell still at night, my Empyrean fitted sheet DID NOT MOVE. This was the first morning in I don't know how long that I didn't have to wrestle the fitted sheet back onto my mattress. I love this fitted sheet and will be going with Empyrean sets for my bedding purchases in the future. If you're at your wit's end with a big mattress and sheets that never seem to fit, try this manufacturer for a sheet that's luxurious without being stupidly expensive.

These sheets are fabulous! They actually fit my king bed with room to spare. The sheets are very soft and comfortable. They launder beautifully! I have bought so many fitted sheets for my very thick mattress that immediately shrunk upon washing. All round elastic and reinforced corner elastic keeps it in place. Do yourself a favor and try these reasonably priced sheets. I bought white and just purchased blue.

I have two of this brand and thickness. Since I have a thick mattress and a topper, this keeps it all covered and will not pop off. Elastic bands on the edges. Sheets are soft, wash up nicely and have a nice thickness, these are not flimsy.

Finally, a bottom sheet that is truly “extra deep pocket!” It fits my deep mattress AND my 6” foam topper. Plus, the added elastic straps are an added bonus. I like that you can purchase the bottom sheet only. I have several sheet sets where the bottom sheet wore out — so I was left with only good top sheets. Now I can use my existing top sheets. I bought one of these bottom sheets to try it out. I liked it so much I just bought another.
