I had a really hard time finding a deep enough pocket for our mattress. We have a 3 inch memory foam and needed at least an 18 inch pocket. I hate microfiber so much. They always smell bad no matter how much I wash them or soak them. These sheets are THE BEST. They pocket is definitely deep enough, it has an elastic band on all four corners for extra hold which is awesome because my husband sleeps like he wrestling greased pigs.
